Annabelle Beach Resort

We stayed at the Annabelle for 4 nights. The hotel was clean, the service extremely friendly. Bar staff especially, nothing was too much trouble. The food was good, lots of fresh fruits and salads, perfect for the hot weather.

The complex is beautiful and the room was clean and tidy. The staff are polite and extremely helpful. A vast selection of food is available and it's delicious, the food was the best I've had in a long while. All in all, I cannot find anything negative to say about this place. We'll definitely be coming back.

Superb territory, very friendly staff, especially on reception. Great animation team, my daughter really liked them. Food, I think - 4, because sometimes meat was really too tough and untasty, but we always could find something for ourselves. There was always enough food, even if you go at the end of lunch. 2 big swimming pools! Cool! What was not very comfortable - it is entrance in the sea, there were a lot of stones, for children it is not good.

Please do not be fooled by this hotel’s pictures and its description, it is not a 5 star resort. Staff are friendly but overworked and most likely underpaid. Stayed for 10 days, and not once witnessed the pool getting cleaned, water is extremely murky. The pool is horrific and the pool bar is messy, unclean and dated. Had to pay £2 euros for wifi access per device and day. “All inclusive” offered a range of 4 heavily watered down cocktails, the rest you had to pay for. Food is mediocre at best, not much option for picky eaters/ kids. Sunbeds are all pretty much broken and they bring up the blue sunbeds from the beach to compensate for the grey ones. Entertainment team are friendly. Rooms are small, changed bedding every day and received fresh towels. shower head was broken, mirror has rust and dirt around it, best thing about the room was the air conditioning that they surprisingly didn’t make you pay to use. We had to pay a euro (one time use) to use the scale to weigh our cases and then a further 2 euros each to put a case into each locker for safety. There is an “indoor pool” which is not available to use, with no water in it and used as a storage room as shown in pictures below. Gym times are unreliable and change depending on staffs mood, so do not rely on opening and closing times. we’ve been on many 5 star holidays before and this is most definitely a 4 star hotel. The dead cockroach laying next to my toilet had not moved in the 7 nights we occupied the room. The hot water was only Luke warm and the bath didn't drain

We had a fab week with our kids, we were so impressed with everything. The village style of the resort is lovely rather than one big hotel block and it's great having a good beach attached. The food was really high quality every meal. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pools are nice, especially the one where you can sit at the bar inside the pool. The affectionate, well-cared-for cats are an added bonus!
