Stayed a week in Vila Galé during the end of the summer. The hotel is located inside an enclose in nature location, well preserved with an almost private beach. Being an all-inclusive reservation, meal is available at most of the day with a large assortment of options and beverages. Hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. I am not sure if they speak English, however, but few of them do. My room was clean, with not bad carpet and was comfortable, bathroom does not leak water outside shower and both are spacious. The views are mostly to inside the hotel property and it is beautiful, you don't need to care about a beach view, because it is a 5 min walk from the room. Hope to have another stay in Vila Galé Angra in the future. The pool is huge, you can find chairs most of the time and beach is just a short walk for it. Since the beach is facing the continent, water is calm, just be aware it get deeps quickly and there is no live savers on beach.

We spent three days at the Fasano Angra to relax and recharge before the new year. Despite the mostly gray weather, we enjoyed ourselves. Pros: 1) Beautiful and comfortable rooms with luxury bath products. The tub was heavenly. 2) Service was great. Special shout-out to Ana at reception. She was extremely helpful. 3) We did a full day boat trip and were upgraded to a larger boat than we'd originally reserved. Highly recommend a day boating if you're in Angra. 4) Spa was wonderful. 5) The hotel has daily nature walks that are complimentary to guests. We enjoyed the short hike to a waterfall. Cons: The resort was undergoining a series of pre-New Years preparations while we were there. This meant that at various points during the day beginning around 8:30/9 AM, there was periodic loud clammering, etc. as workers built a large structure near the pool. This also meant that the second restaurant on property was closed due to the ongoing work. While this wasn't the most inconvenient, we would have appreciated being notified about this in advance, and/or provided with some sort of accomodation due to the disruption. Having only one full restaurant option on site instead of two (with the exception of the small panaderia/bakery near the hotel's shops) made a difference. This also meant that the main hotel restaurant had long waits of up to 1 hour each evening, likely augmented by the fact that it was the only full restaurant open. As others have noted, the resort is isolated and within a gated community. Our two full days, three nights was perfect, but I'm not sure if one would need more time there.

Incredible location! Just in the bay with a beautiful “infinite” pool that make you feel as you are at the sea. The food and drinks are excellent, special mention to Jorge at the restaurant and pool bar, very warm and friendly his service! The rooms are very spacious and I recommend at the wings close to the sea.

Foi a minha pior experiência. Tenho uma casa no condomínio ao lado do hotel, porém naquela tarde faltou luz na região, e o gerador do meu condomínio tinha quebrado. Porém, como estou com um bebê de 2 MESES, não tinha condições de passar a noite sem luz, meu esposo então ligou para o hotel para saber se eles tinham gerador e se estava funcionando, foi informado que estava tudo ok. Fomos até o hotel, conversei com o recepcionista e fui informada que estava tudo funcionando normal. Pagamos por uma diária, isso era umas 23hr e fomos para o quarto, eu, meu filho e meu esposo. Quando cheguei no quarto estava com muito cheiro de mofo, lençóis sujos, cortina toda mofada e não tinha nem toalhas na suíte. Porém como estou com um bebê de 2 meses, eu tinha levado minhas coisas e não questionei. Quando deu 00:10 o ar parou de funcionar, falamos com o recepcionista e ele mandou a gente para um apartamento que era divido em uma suíte e uma “sala” com sofá cama, cada ambiente com um ar. Chegamos nesse apartamento, o ar da suíte nem se quer ligava, então como já estava sendo bem traumático, decidi dormir no sofá cama com meu filho e meu esposo foi conversar com o gerente. Que deu como solução um descontinho. Quando deu 03 hr da manhã, simplesmente o ar parou de funcionar, tentaram colocar a gente em outro quarto que também não tinha ar condicionado. Resumindo as 4:40 da manhã, tive que sair com meu filho de apenas dois meses do hotel. Fui até a recepção para falar com o gerente, mas o mesmo nem fez questão de me receber, resolveu comigo sobre o reembolso por telefone mesmo, sendo bastante grosseiro e sem nenhuma “preocupação” e “cuidado” por eu estar com um bebê tão pequeno. Fui reembolsada 5 dias depois.

O hotel precisa de reforma e manutenção urgente!! Cobra um valor alto para o serviço que entrega. Quarto em péssimo estado, chuveiro Velho demorou muito pra esquentar, fronhas sujas, telefone desconectado, armário e ar condicionado antigos, café da manhã super simples pelo preço cobrado (quase 600,00 a diária)! Me identifiquei como Agente de viagens, e não deram nenhum desconto. Inflexíveis e com um produto que está muito ruim. Não recomendo. Melhorem!!! Única vantagem e a localização, porém não recomendo!
