Hotel From Hell!!! Disgusting and shame I cannot upload the video I have. When I arrived the Garabit Hotel no one was at the hotel except a cleaner delivering bed linen. Gave her the booking numbers to be told the hotel was unable to provide a room of the type booked, a triple room. The hotel also was undergoing extensive refurbishment which meant that there where live electricity wires everywhere in reception with no bar or restaurant available as advertised on ***********. Everywhere was filthy and dusty. I have photographic evidence of the state of the hotel as well as a long video of the hotel and consider it to be dangerous to even allow people to stay in it. The advert did not show anything like this. A few other people arrived after us to check in but also walked away due to the condition the hotel was in. Tried to get in touch with *********** but just an answer phone message so sent them an email immediately outlining the state of the hotel I had travelled quite a distance to stay at the hotel and then to find the hotel could not provide the services I booked very annoying, so I had to rebook another hotel about 2 hours drive from this hotel. Out of all the hotels I have stayed in it was quite frankly the hotel from hell although the location is very nice it has really put me off booking again with *********** In my personal view the hotel should never have been listed as there could potentially be a serious accident involving a guest whilst the renovation is ongoing. Still having an ongoing fight to get our money back!! I think *********** should be ashamed of themselves advertising this as a hotel.

Nous avions tout d'abord réservé sur la route des vacances l'hôtel les portes du cantal à Massiac pour sa piscine , mais celle-ci étant fermé, le responsable nous a trouvé cet hôtel avec piscine ( très pro). L'hôtel certes mériterai un rafraîchissement, mais vraiment accueillant et gentillesse de la patronne. Piscine nikel quand on a des enfants. Je m'y arrêterais de nouveau. Ne pas se fier au mauvais avis. Cependant dommage qu'il ne fasse pas resto. Petit déjeuner nikel.

Nous avons fait une halte pour nous reposer dans cet hôtel qui n’avait pas de très bonnes critiques mais je tiens à signaler que nous avons été très bien reçu même tardivement. Chambre très propre . Petit déjeuner complet. Bien reposé

C'est une véritable expérience que nous avons vécu en famille dans cet hôtel de passage sur la route des vacances... Après la réception d'un message dans la matinée de notre arrivée expliquant les modalités d'accès 👍, nous avons géré notre arrivée en totale autonomie dans cet hôtel en cours de rénovation ? ( J'espère que les travaux ne sont pas terminés) Nous avons eu le droit à un véritable dortoir pour 6 (6 lits individuels) pour notre famille de 4 dans une literie récente mais des draps pas toujours très propre, et un ménage plus que succint... Dommage Le plus, le petit dej compris dans le prix de la nuitée mais d'une prestation très minimaliste et sans l'ombre d'un conseil du personnel présent. Nous sommes repartis comme nous sommes venus, en autonomie, de cet hôtel à l'ambiance particulière arrêtée dans le passé d'une gloire déchue...

Les seuls points positifs, sur un séjour avec repas du soir, nuit, petit déjeuner, panier pique nique, sont le confort de la literie, et le sourire de la serveuse qui fait ce qu'elle peut pour rattraper tous les manquements.

C'est une très belle expérience que nous avons eue en descendant au Garabit Hôtel, à l'entrée des gorges de la Truyère et face au magnifique viaduc d'Eiffel. De cet hôtel, qui a un passé formidable, nous avons pleinement apprécié la prestation que nous a offerte son équipe d'aujourd'hui : un accueil chaleureux, une attention de tous les instants, des échanges cordiaux ... Chambre et literie impeccables et d'une propreté parfaite. Restauration de qualité. Et, en outre, du balcon de notre chambre à la salle à manger, une vue imprenable sur le viaduc.
