The rooms are very clean and nice, the bed was comfortable, the location cannot be beat, and the staff was truly wonderful. A short walk from the train station, the hotel looks out on the castle, and soon-to-be fully renovated Place du Kennedy. It is perhaps 2-3 minutes to downtown. The staff is first rate: fun, friendly, even assisting us in celebrating an anniversary. They made a great stay truly memorable. One note: if it is warm, and a weekend, you may want a room not on the street as street noise lasted until late at night. Our son and daughter-in-law were not streetside, and heard none of the noise. It wasn't a big problem, but light sleepers would want to have the quieter room.

We are still at this great little gem of a hotel and we are so thoroughly enjoying ourselves! This hotel is situated in an area of cute little shops and historic sites. Our hosts, Christophe and Pierre -Louis and Samy made us feel so welcome and gave us a wealth of useful ideas and tips about some great places to see and restaurants which we didn’t know about previously despite our research! This hotel is as clean as a whistle and had all the amenities we needed. We decided to have all our breakfasts there after tasting their coffees and baguettes. The bed was like a cloud we fell into at the end of the day. This hotel is great value and we thoroughly recommend it!

A wonderful one night stay in Hotel Marguerite. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the castle. Breakfast was good, with excellent coffee - as many refills as you want! Our hosts were really friendly and multilingual! They couldn't have been more helpful, lots of advice about what to do and where to eat. Wish we could have stayed longer.

An awesome team. I mean the location is great of course. But the hotel is well run with a welcoming caring team that looked after the family so very well. It is a shame that we only had booked one night. There is clearly more to explore in Angers. And there would be no better place than at this hotel.

Hotel is at the best location in town, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming! We enjoyed our stay a lot and the room was very clean and had an amazing view of he castle. The only drawback we could find was the lack of airconditioning, as we were staying there during a small heatwave. the fan in room was good, but still got very hot.

Received extremely helpful routing advice for bike trip beginning in Angers from two very friendly staff members. One even called our bike rental company for us to clear up a misunderstanding. Room is in great location and very-well appointed.
