Kandi Palace

never been before the kandi palace was recommended by a friend , the location was spot on , the hotel part was amazin i understand its permanent residence " lucky people " the week stay was great the staff were fantastic , so helpful , we also had the hotel sort out our airport pick up and return , spot on time, the place was sport less in fac t my room was cleaned twice in one day, if your on business or holiday its spot on, we eat on the top floor restaurant most days and e veryday for breakfast , alway first class

I booked online with agent but if you go straight to hotel you will get a better deal. I stood in I-9 for 6 months at 55,000 pesos plus electricity. You need to wash your towels and linen provided. Best to go through hotel so all these services are included.

Stay away from host Shame she will over charge price. Studio for a month goes 41,000 pesos with her it's 55,000 plus electricity. Contact hotel for cheaper price. Cleaning I bought my own supplies since they are to busy to clean. Bring your Roku theirs does not work. I stood at I-1 from July 22, 2023 till November 22, 2023. The first 2 months never showed electric bill just charged. The shower has no glass so all water is gonna hit out expect a mess.

So Kandi gave me the instructions to reserve for a month using international remittance. One option is my bank. Thus began the tortuous and tortuous experience that is now the worst experience I've had with any hotel in the world. When I sent the money, and then asked to confirm that it was received, I received several emails none of which were clear and were in broken English. Just in case, I sent the information again, and I saw that the deposit had been accepted on their end. Suddenly, I recieved an email saying that the previous price had changed. I sent several emails asking how this could be given they had already taken my money. They said it had not been received, there was no reservation and denied that the money was deposited. They said to call my bank. My bank confirmed that the money was deposited , that this sort of thing happened a lot and that they would open an investigation and notify the Rcmp pending the outcome (I'm Canadian). They did say this might be a good time to consider another hotel given that this had happened before and there was no guarantee that the hotel would cooperate or that local authorities would indeed help. They told me I would likely get the money back but it could take a while since we were depending on the hotel to cooperate and they had t tried to find the where the money went to this point. I emailed Kandi, told them they had the money, there would be an investigation and local authorities would be contacted. Silence. So I'm days away from arriving now and there is no reservation and Kandi is not responding. If you are visiting from another country, do not send money to Kandi unless you do not care whether they recieve it or whether you will ever get it back. It seems that someone at Kandi pocketed the money and Kandi doesn't really do anything about that. I will be posting this elsewhere, so forgive me if you've already read this. At this point I don't have any alternatives but I want to make sure that other foreigners who think they dealing with a company that has English speaking staff and wouldn't steal your money, that this is not a good choice.

First, let me say the property is nice to look at with a friendly staff. The food was good and moderately priced. The floors were polished floors and had colored accent lighting throughout the property. The wifi was decent for short-term occupancy. My concerns for this property are from a safety standpoint. 1. Anyone off of the street is allowed access to the property to travel up to the roof to access the swimming pool and restaurant. Therefore they have access to the entire property. 2. This property is 14 stories and has no Smoke Evacuation System. More deaths are caused by smoke inhalation during a fire than by the fire itself. Now, the structure is concrete and CMU Brick and is not combustible. However, the furnishings are combustible. The drainage piping within the facility is made from PVC which creates toxic smoke during a fire. For these reasons, I will never use this facility again.
