Pros: Decent room size Clean room Decent wifi connection Location is good Some staffs are nice (NOTE: ”some” and that means only 2!) CONS: OKAY LET ME START HERE... So i have checked in late at night around 8pm and the guy who did my checked in was very nice. BUT, other than that there is nothing more to be happy about. Next day for checked out, woman knocked on my door. No good morning or friendly greeting but only told me it is time for check out. I kindly asked for a late check out since i checked in late prior that day but they hesitated and told me I have to pay extra charge and it's TOTALLY fine with me. Also, They don't even offer receipts for extra feed i paid. So I checked out and again asked the old man if they can consider and if i can stay in the room for like 15min something like that while waiting for my service but told me it's already 2pm and they need to clean the room. Lo and behold , the old woman just entered my room and attempted to clean WITHOUT ASKING ME IF IT'S ALREADY OKAY TO ENTER THE ROOM OR IF I HAVE VALUABLE THINGS THERE OR IF I AM ALREADY SETTLED! LASTLY NO ONE EVEN HELPED ME OR OFFER HELP TO CARRY MY THINGS. I AM A SOLO GUEST AND FYI i am girl and I HAVE ONE LUGGAGE AND A BIG CONSOLE WITH ME. I guess it's because im a Filipina so i was treated like this because if i am not alone and probably with someone foreign, THEY WILL BE NICER TO ME. lol! The hotel looks like a house BUT the feels? Totally the opposite!

It is a good hotel located one road behind perimeter street. Pros 1) Walking distance to mini market, jipney station, wet market and food stalls. 2) The entertainment centre is within walking distance. 3) The front desk personnel are very friendly and helpful. 4) Rooms are clean. The room comes with complimentary water, kettle and simple bathroom utilities. 5) Breakfast is simple. Cons 1) The aircon was noisy. However, the housekeeping team quickly changed my room without much fuss. 2) Not many varieties for breakfast. It takes a while to be served (as they cook it fresh 3) The details of visiting guests were not recorded. Perhaps it would be good for the reception to take the details and call the room once the guests leave. 4) The hotel is located on one road behind perimeter street. Felt a bit uncomfortable when walking back late at night to the hotel. 5) Not much TV programme screened Overall, good hotel. Will stay there again.

My experience at the Queens hotel had a very rocky start. #1. When I had checked in, I was given a room where the room wasn't made yet. No towels and no bedding. Called the front desk and they sent housekeeping to fix the problem but it's still an inconvenient 45 minute wait to shower. #2. The mattress was hard and lumpy. Maybe got 30 minutes of sleep the whole night. In the morning, I asked the front desk if any other room was available and if I could switch? They informed me no other rooms available but they will provide a foam mattress for me. Fortunately, this solved the problem and I was able to sleep the rest of the stay. Kudos to the front desk staff for their outstanding customer service to keep me there because I was already looking online for other hotels in the area to switch to. Location is great. Pool is relaxing. Highly recommend getting the balcony rooms to lounge in, but bring your noise canceling headphone because noise from the street and pool area could be distracting. Heard great things about the restaurant but I only had breakfast there -- wasn't very impressed with their limited menu. Not the friendliest staff in the restaurant either. I also wanted to substitute rice for hash brown but was told it would cost an additional 100 peso. Wow? Really? Just for rice? For breakfast, walk over to Phillies or Envy. Customer service and menu is much better. Overall, good hotel. Reason why I don't give them a 5* is the rough start upon check-in and restaurant. .

I stayed here for 22 nights with my partner and overall, it was a good experience. We stayed in a deluxe king room on the bottom floor. Pros: -comfortable bed -good shower with many shower heads and hand held hose -good location in Balibago close to many good restaurants and karaoke bars -staff are friendly and attentive, special shout out to Cherry for helping me organize flowers on Valentine's Day -easily accessible by car and free parking -the rate is quite cheap, will be hard to find a better hotel for this price in the area -the WiFi was consistently reliable with fast speeds throughout my stay Cons: -despite daily housekeeping, the floor of the room is always dirty, you cannot walk barefoot in the room or your feet will be black with dirt. needs to be mopped with stronger chemicals -the shower needs a deep and thorough clean with stronger chemicals also. housekeeping staff are mopping the floor, but white and black mould accumulate very quickly which poses a health risk. it seems like they're just cleaning the bathroom with basic chemicals or water only -would be much better if the TV was a smart TV so that guests can enjoy Netflix etc, however they did have cable TV -quite often, our access card stopped working every 2-3 days which is inconvenient as we have to go to reception constantly to get it fixed. also, there are 2 of us but they refused to give us 2 room keys. If the small issue with cleanliness of the floors/shower is resolved and this hotel had a smart TV, it would truly transform the hotel to a 5 star experience. Overall, I would stay here again.

This hotel isn’t for families. This hotel is in the middle of a bar district. Rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. The food at the rooftop is lacking. The only issue I had was the first day because I didn’t have hot water to take a shower. The staff resolved the issue the same day.

Staff had been very warm and responds swiftly. This is tru the moment we landed on the driveway. Check in was fast; room was clean and food was good. We love of course the bar cos it has a pool area and the cocktails are great!
Location is one of its aces too and we’ll definitely consider for our next visit. The bell boy took a long time to pick up hut the front desk followed through and apologised.

Me and my boyfriend went to Midori to celebrate his birthday. The overall experience was good. The room was really spacious and well-appointed. The staff were helpful and friendly. Their food was great (even our pastry takeouts from their bakery). We got the chance to tryout their spa as well and it was very relaxing. Their ******, though small, is well-equipped. One thing we think needs improvement is their parking. Their parking is limited and It would be quite a walk to the hotel proper. Would definitely come back though, if the time permits :)

GGuest UserOk first I am really speechless about how wonderful this hotel and its staff is... to begin with I booked it for my gf to propose her for marriage..as I am far from her so we did online..but I emailed hotel about payment assistance, surprise package preparation and OMG!! They did out of the universe wonderful work...first there room look exactly how it is in picture , everything picture perfect, they were under staffed but superb ownership taken by Rolyn (staff) and Kisha( staff ) with the most effective communication, they're mind blowing and super helpful...omg because of them and outstanding leadership by Kris (manager) and the surprise from him made my surprise so special and OMG!! She said yes ...♥️ this is dream hotel for me and my family and friends .. so my message to everyone ”this is the best hotel .. just book ..every cent you spend it absolutely worth it...you'll be happily surprised”, each member of staff and management is like a army on their own ... getting emotional here ..but awesome work ..happy new year to everyone there. GGuest UserMy wife and I just finished up our vacation in the Philippines and on our way back after taking the extended family to Baguio, I suggested we spend a few nights in Angeles to visit some relatives and let the family enjoy a western style hotel. As there were 13 of us, I reserved 6 rooms including 4 standard, a superior suite and a queen balcony. Our family absolutely fell in love with the Clarkton. Housekeeping kept the rooms spotless Best sleep we had during our entire vacation. rooms are quiet clean and comfortable. The restaurant staff went out of their way to make sure a table was set for everyone in our family and provided exceptional and courteous service Breakfasts were especially good. as well as the coffee (Irish for me) The ladies at the front counter were more than helpful and again made our family feel like they were the most special guests there Housekeeping was friendly and did an excellent job and the security guard helped whenever we were going out Our family had never stayed at a nice western style hotel before and they commented how everyone at The Clarkton made them feel so welcome and special. They loved swimming in and hanging out by the beautiful pool and said it was the best vacation they had ever experienced We decided to use the transfer service to NAIA and it was the nicest van service we've had in the Philippines Overall, Thank You. My wife and I travel quite a bit around the world and we agreed we will return to the Clarkton

We had a problem with the PentHouse Hotel we were staying at earlier (see another review), so we abandoned our reservation and moved to this nearby hotel. Agoda reservation, less than 5kJPY. The location is the strongest. Just a little bit from the middle of WS. The room is spacious because it is second only to the suite. However, rather than being spacious, it feels like it's really wide, and the space isn't being used effectively. ☆☆☆, so it might be something like that. The lighting is a little weak, as other reviewers have said. However, even hotels with more stars in Vietnam have weaknesses, so it may be a Southeast Asian thing. wifi is ok. I didn't feel stressed for too long, but sometimes it cuts off abruptly. But it will recover soon. NHK is good for those who are in an environment where they cannot watch Japanese TV. There are two convenience stores in the vicinity that are extensions of Yorozuya. One is open very late. No JF, which is normal here, but there was no ID check either. It may be about here and Red Planet where you can enter the room without passing through. On the other hand, people who enter are constantly watched by women such as aunts, so it is relatively safer than the previous hotel. There is a safe. Only one point, the reason why it couldn't be ☆☆☆☆. The water pipe is old, and the water that comes out has a very iron smell. Faucet and shower. It may cost a lot of money, but I want you to improve this point as soon as possible. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try the adjacent restaurant. However, it was crowded every night with Westerners who were picky about taste and cost, so it was probably delicious. I want to try it next time.

TTravel-exotic-PBI enjoyed my stay at Pacific Breeze Hotel and would recommended this hotel to other travellers looking for medium priced accommodation. It is situated extremely close to the popular Walking Street where there are numerous bars and clubs. It’s close to restaurants and sports bars and if that’s what you are in Angeles for then you could not be closer. You are also a short walk to the massive SM City Clark Mall, which provides much entertainment and shopping opportunities for the locals and is certainly worth a visit or two. You can also catch the shuttle bus to Manila from the mall, which is very handy. I made use of the hotel gym every day, which is on the roof of the annexed building. It’s a pretty good gym with enough equipment to keep you busy for an hour. It was mostly quiet in there and the kit is in good shape considering the price bracket of the hotel. I also swam daily in the hotel pool and this is a good size and was cleaned each morning. Great restaurant with healthy sized portions, efficient service and reasonably priced food all served by the lovely pool. There are security guards on each block and they not only did a good job looking after the rooms but it was a pleasure to have a little chat with them each day, discuss what’s happening, get travel advice and shoot the breeze. When you leave the hotel you need to hand in your key. Shoot the breeze in Pacific Breeze Hotel! All round the staff were pretty friendly which is very much expected in a country known for its friendliness. The girls on the reception desk were very professional and handled all my inquiries effectively. The one feature that ought to be pointed out is the fact that many rooms do not have a window that faces outside. So my room for instance did have a window but it looks out into the corridor of the ground floor. Now this is odd really and in the future should I ever head back to Angeles City I would happily stay at this hotel again but would request a window facing the outside. I need sunlight, a view, a peek at the weather and having the curtain always drawn felt odd. But all round this is a great hotel. It has a certain energy and character about it that I suppose may be brought about by its location to walking street. One cannot ignore the fact that many guests may be in that area to enjoy the delights of Walking Street and all it has to offer. This does not put me off but adds to the entertainment and character of this hotel. I will stay again if I ever find myself back in the city.

GGuest UserThis was my first time making a reservation on agora or *********** and things turned out rather nicely. I made the reservation for my girlfriend and I to do something different. I went the day prior to ensure things were ok and everything was good to go. Check in the next day was to begin at 4:00pm. I arrived at 4:35 and my room wasn’t ready until about 4:50…that is the only complaint I have. Charmaine and the other young ladies at the front desk were very professional and courteous, with a great sense of humor. I stayed in Room 508 and have no complaints about the room. Check out was flawless…I would definitely book this hotel again!

AAnn CStarting with the Manager, and the front desk, the rest of the staff, they're all great, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I apologize for having posted a review late, but I still want to get it out there that this place is amazing. I really enjoyed my time here. I stayed for about 3 weeks, and enjoyed ever day I spent there. I can't complain. Excellent service by everyone. Thank you all for the hospitality.

GGuest UserGreat location - a couple brown outs so this hotel really needs a backup generator. The staff is really nice. The rooms are cleaned only every second day and you only get the complimentary water on the first day. It is quiet and the wifi is ok but it varies greatly by room.

GGuest UserThere is no breakfast, there is a small swimming pool, the location is a certain distance from the pedestrian street, but not far away, it is too noisy to live in the pedestrian street, the suites are actually opened up two downstairs and downstairs, it is good !!

TTom HBooked the hotel via Hotels.com 8 days of relaxing. Nice pictures on the website, so was really looking forward to the stay. Omg, i dont know when thoose pictures where taken, but i dont beleave it was from this century. The room was excactly like a prisoncell, green emty walls, no balcony or terrace, just the room with highly placed windows. The pool located in the centre of the prisonyard, sorry hotelyard was in desperate need of water and the area around it looked like a wilderness of leaves. 8 days in this place was more than i could stand for, but lucky for me, Hotels.com cancelled my remaining booking, a thing they was not obligated to do, so thanks to them. It was not all bad. The staff was extremely friendly and did what ever they could to make me happy, sorry to say this was an impossible task, but they really tried. Ofcourse i had to take a taxi to center, since this hotel i placed in the middle of nothing.
