Gîte Près des Montgolfières

This was my third time staying at this wonderful gîte près des montgolfières, and once again, I’m not disappointed! The place is absolutely beautiful and incredibly calm — the perfect escape from the rush of everyday life. The rooms are spotless and uniquely cozy, decorated with so much taste and attention to detail that you immediately feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was feeding the alpacas! We even had the chance to meet the hosts’ son, who told us so many interesting things about these adorable animals. The hosts, Lina and Autimas, were exceptionally welcoming and warm, making us feel like part of the family. The garden is absolutely stunning — lush and perfectly maintained, even under the summer heat. What makes this place even more special is its location: there’s a zoo nearby and so many beautiful castles to visit. Every year we discover something new in the area, which makes each trip special. For us, this place is pure paradise, and we will definitely be back next year

We had a pleasant one night stay here. We enjoyed the modern kitchen which enabled us to make dinner and breakfast. My kids enjoyed the alpacas and donkeys which were on their farm in back of our apartment and the playground. We also used the laundry machine and Lena, the host, helped us with the drying of our clothes. She also provided us with some homemade butter and cheese which was delicious.

A beautiful apartment set in lovely countryside; it has convenient parking and very friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was very spacious and very well equipped with microwave, oven, grill and hob in the kitchen as well as kettle, coffee maker and fridge. I was surprised to find in addition to the usual items a washing machine. There was a lovely courtyard with private sitting area; throughout was a hot air balloon theme and a homely feel that sets it aside from your usual apartment. There was heating and air conditioning in the room; it was very quiet aiding in a restful night in the very confortable bed.
