Hotels Near Museo Spazio-Tempo in Ancona

PRO: a due passi dal centro, comodissimo! C’è l’ascensore. CONTRO: vista la posizione il b&b un consiglio spassionato -＞ potrebbe essere valorizzato molto meglio! Premessa: ambiente in sé vecchio, fin qui no problem. Però: • bagni in comune separati uomini/donne: Sarebbe utile essere moltooo più chiari nella descrizione! Un po’ di manutenzione in più ci starebbe: soffitti con intonaco staccato; prodotti da bagno ad uso comune (non proprio igienico…). • odori sgradevoli (di fumo negli ambienti e di fogne in bagno). • camera pulita in generale, un po’ spelacchiata la base del letto. A disposizione accappatoio e salviette. Non proprio lindo il piumino, qualche macchiolina presente. Non c’è la tv, ma questo può essere si e no un problema. DELUSIONE per la colazione che è inclusa nel prezzo. Merendine confezionate di scarsa qualità e con tracciabilità non chiara; a disposizione biscotti non confezionati singolarmente ma aperti in una scatola (poco igienico essendo ambiente in comune), té in bustine e cerali. Yogurt da supermercato e marmellatine. Latte già aperto (da quanto?) nel frigorifero e a disposizione confezioni chiuse. Peccato davvero per la colazione, uno attraversa la strada e con pochi euro si ferma in una buona pasticceria del centro! •wi-fi non funzionante per lavori in corso nel palazzo, “impacchettato” per il restauro facciate. CONCLUSIONI: basterebbe davvero poco per rendere più appetibile questo b&b, vista la comodità dell’essere letteralmente a un minuto dal centro!

The hotel is great! The location is excellent, the port is the seaside port, the back is the shopping pedestrian street, eat and drink! The interior of the hotel is decorated in a Mediterranean style, very beautiful and the rooms are very clean! The son was naughty and accidentally broke the flower pot at the front desk. Although the reception was speechless, it was still very friendly! Breakfast is relatively simple, but fruits, bread, cold cuts, coffee, etc. are enough for your belly! This hotel makes our impression of Ancona more beautiful and memorable!

The Ego hotel is situated in an easily accessible area with good easy parking facilities. The hotel itself is very reasonable for what it offers, very clean and a great spa to unwind. Above all the staff are very helpful, especially Simona!!

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Portonovo area or just outside on Ancona. Genuinely cannot say enough good things about this hotel, which far exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is so lovely-very clean and the staff take pride in a rigorous cleaning service. Our room was fully made as soon as we came back from breakfast before 10pm and cleaning was of a very good standard. The hotel is travertine throughout so just be careful as it can be slippy if it has rained or you're coming back wet from the pool. The pool area is very lovely but the pool bar was closed as we technically went out of season for this (so unable to comment), but again, the area was clean with lots of sun loungers. The breakfast spread was unbelievably good with a large variety to suit all tastes. Traditional fare, with cured meats, cheese, tomatoes, pastries, fruit, etc. but also offered eggs and bacon and other options which is very nice. Excellent Lavazza coffee and fresh juice which made all the difference when it comes to quality. Although we didn't have dinner at the restaurant, we overheard so many guests saying it was unbelievably wonderful and of a high quality (some even said of a Michelin standard!). The wine served at the restaurant was fantastic, having a large variety and many local wines. If you like white, I absolutely recommend the Pecorino Offida Della Angela for 28 euros (one of the best I've tried). All of the staff we met were so friendly, well-mannered, and very accommodating. This was further evident when one of the managers at reception went out of his way to help us by calling the local taxi company we used (who only spoke Italian and we didn't fluently) in order to find one of our lost phones which we were luckily able to get back only with his help! The beach of Portonovo is literally only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there are a few fantastic restaurants at the beach front which were out of this world. Highly recommend Il Molo and Spaggia Bonetti! Would also suggest you bring some sort of beach shoe or croc if you want to go in the sea as it is mostly pebble/shale and can be a bit precarious going in. But wonderful all the same! You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas for the day and the cost varies depending on who owns which section and how close you are to the beach. It cost us 25 euros for the front role of the blue and white loungers/parasol owned by Il Molo for the full day which I would say is worth it, especially if you want to go for a drink and some food there. The hotel is slightly secluded in terms of wider transport or any supermarkets. But if you go to the service stop just up from the hotel where there is a restaurant and trail walk, you can get a free short bus that takes 3 minutes to take you to another bus stop where you can get a bus directly to Ancona city centre. Just double check the times in advance if you can as this is what we needed to do. All in all, Seebay is a fantastic hotel

Everyone in the staff always had a ready smile and was always helpful! Excellent views of the beach from the restaurant and the room! We took our meals at the restaurant and food as well as the service were great! For starters, we were served sparkling white wine and some bruschetta! We ordered pasta and vegetable gratin each and were surprised by the large portions! But everything was delicious so we were more than satisfied. About the location, you need to walk up a bit but we did not mind the exercise at all. Also, if you find yourself in Portonovo, you will be a bit far from the city center. So if you need to shop for necessities, you need to drive 20-30 minutes to Numana. The hotel gave excellent suggestions and arranged also for a hired taxi. All-around great service and would definitely visit again in the future if given the chance.

Clean comfortable rooms, with a balcony, and a bathroom window that opens. Excellent breakfast buffet: you can eat Italian style with small sweets and prosciutto, or American style with eggs and bacon, or both. Parking is a challenge at dinnertime or when there is a special event in the restaurant, but the hotel sent someone out front to direct people to parking places whenever it was crowded, rather than leaving us to fend for ourselves. The only problem I had is that each room is only on a 6-amp circuit (1300 watts) -- if you bring a hair dryer or a pot to boil water for tea in your room, you WILL blow the fuse, and get to tell the front desk and ask how to reset it.
