Inlet Tower Hotel and Suites

The room is spatious, the beds are comfy, if you stay in some of the upper floors you get some awesome views. I think there was no milk to accompany the complimentary coffee bags in the room. The breakfast is mayhem, we did not have breakfast included and to just get coffees and a snack from some voucher that was included meant waiting in a pretty crazy line. But all in all, centrally located too, so walking distance to Anchorage city centre. Internet not the best TBH.

Our travel party stayed here three times during our two week trip, requiring two rooms for every stay. All staff members were very nice and tried to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Rooms with AC are hit and miss. Rooms facing the sound and higher floors are more comfortable due to breeze. The mattresses in the deluxe queen rooms were awful. The dip in the mattresses on one dies was evident in all of the rooms. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers had great water pressure and consistent hot water. While all rooms have dark window blinds, only one room we stayed in had an additional darkening pull down blind. We resorted to aluminum foil over the windows to darken the room enough for sleep. The housekeeping staff really does an excellent job cleaning and making the rooms as nice as possible, but the hotel is in severe need of furniture updates. The free breakfast is good, but disappointing that it only includes microwaved sandwich, burritos, bagels, or pastries when there is a full restaurant on site. We ate at the Gastropub once and the food was really good. It would be great for it to be open in the mornings with a breakfast Buffett. It was easy to access the airport and the highway from the hotel and the neighborhood was mostly residential.

Only stayed one night, but geez, what a dump. The staff was friendly and none of the problems were their fault. Our TV didn't work, the remote was for a different TV and didn't have batteries in it. The only person who could address the problem was out driving the shuttle. Everything was worn down and well past its heyday. Ownership needs to give this old hag a face lift stat!

Smelly, moldy, and dirty. The bathtub was up to my hip which made it very difficult to get in and out of. The faucet was across the bathtub which made it very difficult to get it started. It was so moldy! The floor in front of the refrigerator was wet and there was a chunk of ice in the fridge. The blinds looked like they were never cleaned or dusted. There were also a ton of bugs in the light in the bathroom. Very disapointed.
