Absolutely awful. We paid £145 for one night, and the hotel is a building site. The pool, spa and restaurant are all out of order with tarps laid out on the floor, and there’s no lobby. The only place you can be in the hotel is in your room. Which is dingy. The staff are unhelpful and unfriendly. Despite the hotel displaying a guarantee to “make things right”, they’ve made no effort to make our stay comfortable. We asked for a partial refund because the room was not as advertised, and they flat out refused. The hotel manager has a “you don’t like it? Sue me” vibe. If you don’t care about making your customers enjoy their stay, don’t work in the hospitality industry. Never staying in a Hilton again.
