Marcus Daly Motel

Our stay at the Marcus Daly Motel has forever ruined us for staying at any other motel anywhere. The rooms were spotless, quiet and everything worked. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. I grew up in Anaconda but left over 50 years ago. I still have friends in town so have never had much need to stay in a motel in town. We were there for a wedding. My friend recommended the Marcus Daly. I'm so glad she did. If we ever have a reason to spend the night in Anaconda again the Marcus Daly Motel will be our first choice. Thank you to Fay for making it a remarkable and memorable weekend.

A Great little surprise in Anaconda! We planned to stay in Butte but had issues finding a hotel - I was able to pull this hotel up “nearby” and read the reviews and they were all positive so we took a chance and called too book! So glad we did! The motel was older but I’d describe it as “ Vintage” and well maintained and extremely clean ! The owner( Faye) was so nice and insisted that we check out 2 rooms to make sure they met our standards before we were charged. We stayed in #12 upstairs and it was probably the best nights sleep we have had on our entire vacation over the past 6 days! It was quite and spotless. I use to describe myself as a “hotel snob” because I traveled for work often and stayed at many larger brand hotels and this place had a cleaner bathroom and shower than a lot of the Marriotts or Hilton properties I’ve been to in the past ! The owner was a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area, including restaurants and places to see. She also gave us info about some of the local filming around the area for the Yellowstone Series. If you are a positive traveler that doesn’t require room service and a bell hop and are looking for a great little motel at an affordable rate stay here !! This place is a hidden Gem in a historic mining town that you won’t normally find anywhere else ❤️
