As we arrived the pleasant receptionist set the tone. Our flight was delayed and we were hungry so we saw their restaurant closed in 15 mins. Shall we go? “No please walk 15mins to this other place”. OK. We did and it was closed. We returned a fruitless hour later to find same hopeless staff member in their little shop selling sandwiches. My wife was ready to explode but it calmed down. Within 15 mins of arrival I was told No more times than in our 3 week trip in total No milk for tea or coffee. Room clean enough. Hopeless air con. We are Accor Diamond and noticed almost no benefits apart from 5 cans of pop free a day. No breakfast/gift or other things that you get elsewhere. A trip back in time when Accor were clueless about brand loyalty. In Australia/Oceania now they are very switched on My loyalty to them caused the problem here. The truth is that unless you spend big money on the Sofitel Accor has no decent mid range hotels in Amsterdam and it’s worth noting. Going to another brand should be remembered in certain cities especially in Europe which is odd as they are a European company. A badly managed hotel. That’s where the problem is. Lazy or incompetent. I know the signs.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for a week. Pros: the check-in went very quickly. We got room on the top floor with a 180 view. The room itself is small, very minimalistic, I liked that there is a coffee machine in the room. Comfortable bed. In the lobby you can get water, buy snacks and essentials, take an umbrella for free if it rains, and also get a fun picture in the Photobooth. Location: convenient. Its not the center, but it's a few minutes to the metro and tram station. Cons: there are no slippers in the room, although they were indicated in the room description. The locker inside was full of dust, the hair conditioner was never renewed for the whole week and the towels were rarely changed. Hair dryer did not work well. Also, whoever cleaned our room touched and moved around our personal belongings, did not like that. Breakfast for two is 25 euros, but it is very basic, the same every morning and not tasty. If you want to have dinner at the hotel, be prepared to pay 17 euros for over-salted ravioli or 13 euros for a burger. I do not recommend eating there. The rooftop bar was closed due to the rains. Overall we liked it there

Breakfast is 20 Euros, which is not bad. It is a good breakfast in the Netherlands, a typical Western breakfast. The location is just beside the subway, which is very convenient to go everywhere. The room has no toiletries, no kettle, and no slippers. So I think the price/performance ratio is average, that is, the hotel has a rooftop and various activities, and the price is high

This new hotel is conveniently located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood with easy access to all transport links, local shops, parks and hospital. It exceeded our expectations for everything and is wheelchair accessible. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, taking care of our every need. Nothing is too much trouble for reception, cleaning or breakfast staff. There is a great system to store luggage securely for early arrivals. Our room was spacious, spotless and well equipped with a kitchen, comfy beds and quality linen changed regularly. The reasonably priced breakfast was delicious with plenty of beautifully cooked options. We have thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and will definitely be back.

The Treasure Hotel in Amsterdam, I searched for the recommendation on Xiaohongshu and found it after repeated comparisons. I don't like the old and noisy on both sides of the canal, and this hotel is near the tram and subway, in fact, it is very convenient to go everywhere. The room has an industrial style, is spacious and comfortable, and there are racks for drying clothes in the bathroom. As long as you can travel by yourself and understand a few words of English, there is no problem staying here.
