Nice location, between Van Gogh Museum and the Hoofstraat (the luxury goods stores) , 1 minute walk away. Transportation is convenient. The room is clean, quite and comfortable, in particular with Slippers and USB-C power socket provided, which are in good sense of convenience for international travelers. Breakfast is the typical continental style with fried eggs, bacon and cheeses. It is the best choice for the next trip.
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The large windows and the cozy bed made the room feel really comfortable. I upgraded to a larger room, which worked out perfectly and was definitely worth it. The hotel is located next to a nice area for walks, which added to the relaxing vibe. Just be aware that it’s not right in the city center — public transport makes everything easily accessible, but it’s still a bit of a distance. That’s clear from the map, though. Overall, I was very satisfied and would stay here again.

The location is exceptional, otherwise, nothing much to choose or for. Most of the staff are friendly but you get an occasional rude youngster who hate their job. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, the receptionist gaslighted me about hot water in the shower, which I didn’t have for 3 days. Brown stained towels should be disposed. I arrived at my room with paper towels floating, not flushed. Drilling and knocking were nonstop all day from 08:30 in the morning on a Saturday.
We had a magnificent stay at De ware Jacob Hotel with a family of five at the end of 2020. With the Covid restrictions it was not easy to travel around, but nonetheless we decided to spend a weekend in Amsterdam benefitting from the beauty of the city with fewer tourists at this moment in time. This Hotel was recommended to us as a cosy newly renovated boutique hotel at the heart of the Museum District, and the price was really good, so we were not disappointed. Our stay was even more memorable than expected. We were received by the very friendly owner and treated with a glass of Cava. The suites and the family rooms were very nice and spacious, we also benefitted from an upgrade, which was a nice gesture. A nice sushi dinner was delivered from a nearby restaurant and we enjoyed it in the lounge with a nice restaurant ambiance. We were pleasantly shocked to be given the variety of Georgian natural wines tasting by the host, something we never tried before, accompanied by the delicious strawberry covered in chocolate. Fantastic!! Breakfast was nicely presented, had nice selection and we were also offered a glass of Prosecco to start the day, but instead decided to swap it for extra cappuccinos and a homemade cake on the house. The city itself was delightful, being not so crowded as usual. We really enjoyed walking in the nearby park. Also went to The Red Light district which was absolutely empty, something unforgettable and special!!! It was indeed a very pleasant break in beautiful Amsterdam.
The location is too convenient, and it is close to the Van Gogh Museum and the Dutch National Museum. Supermarkets and designer stores are all within walking distance.
The service was good and the breakfast was delicious. I specifically asked what the name of the delicious sauce was. The restaurant staff responded very enthusiastically to me.
Although the room is not big, it is very clean and hygienic, don't worry about bed bugs!
It is equipped with biscuit tea bags and capsule coffee.
The American tourists who stayed in my next room were very friendly and thanked me for keeping quiet and I thanked them back.
It was a very pleasant travel experience! Would recommend to friends!
The place is fine but not the hotel that I was expecting. It is winter now and pretty cold at night. Water was not provided. There were toothbrushes and toothpaste but when I asked the reception they provided them to us. The receptionists are nice. There is an Indonesian restaurant across from the hotel that serves good food^^
For this rental price, a free breakfast is also provided, which is really good. The breakfast variety is not rich but ok, affordable. The small decoration period of the room has been long, but the sanitary environment is good, the economy is close to the Van Gogh Museum, in short, 0k
Staff is friendly location is good.
But the room is very small, not soundproof as well. Also early check in like 11 am you have to go. Feel like a hostel not hotel.

獨獨角獸喺北冰洋數綿羊Every time I go on a business trip, I must choose this hotel. It is one of the best in Amsterdam. Every time I go there, the staff are always warm and welcoming. Every time I go there, I arrive at the hotel at 7 or 8 in the morning, but they can help me every time. I arranged my room to check in early, and because the room was very full this time, my room was upgraded.
This kind of service and attitude are very satisfying and worthy of praise!
VViviLeon”Park Plaza is a highly recommended hotel. From the moment we arrived, we experienced exceptional service. The rooms were impeccably clean and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Being conveniently located near TRAM and bus stations made getting around the city a breeze.
We particularly enjoyed dining at the Italian restaurant onsite, where we indulged in delicious meals. Additionally, having complimentary water, coffee, and tea in the room added a thoughtful touch to our stay. Overall, our experience at Park Plaza exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly return for another visit.”
TTW2024Thanks for the upgrade and early check-in. The room is so beautiful with a coffee machine (coffee was the reason why we booked). A few months ago we stayed in a hotel in Zurich having a coffee machine and it cost a lot more.
Nice to receive their email so we know how to arrive by Tram #2 and depart by Airport Express Bus 397.
Rooms has a small corner where they set the coffee table, 4 towels, 4 pillows. After we finished their coffee capsules, we took boiling water from that coffee machine to make our own tea.
Heater and hot shower work. Lighting in room is good. Room is a a bit dated but is still in good condition. Great services from Front Desk staff and Housekeeping staff.
VVladiI liked the place very much. Nice atmosphere at the bar, clean and very quite in the room and only 15 eur. Get your towel for shower and your own lock to lock your staff otherwise you have to pay which is normal considering the price of the bed. Bed is very comfortable but a bit short. I am 186 and it was not enough.
GGuest UserWonderful hotel in a quite area near beautiful and large park. Very helpful, friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean amenities and really creative design. Opportunity to play various video games and board games. In general, amazing sphere!
GgreenwingflyIt's small and warm, it's very cold, and there is an electric heater beside the bed, which is very comfortable. I stayed for 3 days for the transfer test, which is very cost-effective! If there is no epidemic situation to travel in the future, I will come here again, it is very convenient!
MMhamedThe hotel is in a very good location and with good views. The only downside is that the room is very narrow, with some sheets with holes in them, and the bathroom is even smaller. The room has a coffee maker, heating and a fan.
We paid the fee of €30 per day.
Everything was really narrow.
The receptionists were very nice, they kept our bags for us after we checked out.
GGuest UserThe hotel is close to the Rijksmuseum and only two stops from the Central Station by subway. It is the first time in Europe that a deposit is required upon check-in. The room is arranged on the top floor of the fifth floor. The stairs are narrow and steep, and it is difficult to carry luggage up and down. It is very hot during the day and there is no air conditioning. There is a cool breeze outside the window in the morning and evening, which is manageable. There is not even a chair in the room. The room fee is 700-800 RMB per day. It is not a waste of money to invest in adding necessary facilities.
