After the check-in, I encountered a series of problems. The front desk arranged people to help me solve the problem. The service was very good. My suitcase is broken, and the hotel is looking for someone to help me get it. Then the skinny is too slippery to open the door. The front desk is looking for repairs. I can wrap the tape on the handle to facilitate my access and the hotel steak is super delicious.

The cheapest room type is small, but it is enough. It is not too far from the sightseeing area and the *** bucket. The biggest disadvantage is that the hot water is not hot enough. It is uncomfortable to take a bath in winter.

I stayed for two nights on January 17, 18, 2024. The white young man at the front desk staff was very time and troublesome and uncomfortable to check in. Despite the reservation, I was surprised to have my name, country of origin, phone number, etc. enter into the iPad. By the way, I stayed at other hotels in Amsterdam and Brussels, but this hotel was the only one that was so hard to check in. While I was entering my personal information, the front desk staff, he had enough time to settle the remaining amount of accommodation fees, and at the end of the sentence, he gave me breakfast or not. Information about the breakfast venue I was missing. So when I checked out, I avoided this and asked a black woman, but when she asked me what it was because she told me to pay an additional fee I didn't remember. She asked him for help. It seems that the front desk staff is not well educated. Amenity is not a toothpaste set, shampoo is minimal. The Nespresso in the room worked properly and I was able to drink coffee. The room felt clean. The air conditioner in the room was Daikin, a Japanese manufacturer, and the room temperature was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was weak, but the shower room was clean and hot water came out. The location is very convenient for transportation and sightseeing, 8 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station. This is also an advantage for men, but although the hotel is not a decorative window area, there are more than 10 decorative windows near the back street, so you can enjoy it.

Just stopped for a drink. Seating outside was a good viewing spot. It’s on a main road and you can watch bikes and trams zoom by. Inside bar area. There is a varied drinks menu which was more than adequate including hot beverages and alcohol. The ginger and honey tea was lovely. Huge slices of fresh ginger! Selection of wines and zero beers. Decent snack menu. We had mini Frikandellen and cheese fingers both very nice and €9.50 each. Glass of Merlot €5.80 (served in tumbler glass?) and cappuccino €5.30 so all quite reasonable. The outside seating can be a bit squashed and noisy but this was compensated for us by just being able to stop and stare and chat with friends. Would happily stop for refreshments if passing again one day.

A clean and spacious room for a couple with two big luggage. A quiet hotel away from the busy main roads. The hotel is conveniently located near Amsterdam centraal. Tram/bus stop is just outside. Make it very convenient to move around and explore Amsterdam. The hotel staff are friendly and offer their help to the best of their ability. Just disappointed that I should have spent more days in Amsterdam and stay at this hotel. Thank you to all the staff, especially Sarah. Appreciate the late checkout at 1pm as it allows me to do my prayers before flying home. My choice hotel when I'm back in Amsterdam. Hopefully very soon. :)
