I recently stayed at Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The check-in and check-out process was very fast, which was a great start. However, the first room I was given wasn’t up to standard, but to their credit, the staff quickly arranged a room change without any hassle. The customer service was great—very responsible and accommodating.
I didn’t get the chance to use the hotel facilities, so I can’t comment on those. One downside was the location; while it’s accessible by train and tram, the walk from the station felt quite far, which can be inconvenient if you’re carrying luggage or exploring the city frequently.
Overall, it’s a decent hotel with good service, but the location might not be the best choice if you prefer something more central.

Hotel and room was clean with friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant food was overpriced, there is a gym but quite basic. Location is fairly far from the city center but still an enjoyable travel.

A Decent Stay with Some Flaws
I recently stayed at Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark for 2 nights. Overall, it was an average experience—neither exceptional nor terrible.
Pros:
• Location: Conveniently situated near public transport and recreatinal park
• Staff: The front desk and housekeeping were friendly and helpful.
• Room Comfort: The bed was comfortable, and the room had basic amenities like a TV, Wi-Fi, and a coffee maker.
Cons:
• Cleanliness: While the room was generally clean, you have to notify the personel for replacement of towels and house keeping. If you you not do this they don’t do this.
Verdict:
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option with a decent location, this hotel is fine for a short stay. However, if you’re seeking a more comfortable or luxurious experience, you might want to look elsewhere.

It was very decently clean but some amenities (hair dryer for example had lots of dust and stopped working) are a bit dated.
Generally a good place to stay but for the money I think other brands can be equally as good if not better. Tram is nearby.

We had a disappointing experience with this hotel regarding double-charging us for taxes. We paid for our stay in advance and, upon check-in, were required to pay additional taxes, which we understood. However, we were mistakenly charged twice for those taxes. The receptionist assured us it would be resolved in a few days, but it’s now been over three weeks with no refund. Each week, we receive an email asking the same questions (names, dates, card info) as if a new person is handling the issue every time. Very frustrating and unprofessional service.

Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. The hotel is located near the tram stop, a little far from the city center, but in a quiet area. The hotel has friendly staff who are always ready to help and a pleasant atmosphere.
