Lloyd Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for a bachelor party and had a fantastic experience. The place was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful – we were assisted quickly and professionally throughout our stay. Overall, a great spot for a fun and hassle-free getaway. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful lunch at the terrace of Hoxton Lloyd Hotel. Steak sandwich was amazing! Special thanks to Irene and Nikolas that made the experience even better with their friendly and attentive service. Definitely a place I’d recommend!

This is a great hotel in a great neighborhood. The staff were super accommodating and helpful. The hotel itself is very modern inside, yet still has loads of charm from its previous life as a 1920’s building. It has all the amenities and more of a brand new hotel. We had one small issue, and I only mention this to say the staff acted quickly and resolved the issue. I have never stayed a a hotel that did not have a small issue, they happen, but how the staff reacts is key. At every turn the staff when we interacted with them were kind, courteous and beyond friendly. I would not hesitate to stay here again! It is very close to transit making the ability to get into city center SUPER easy.

Overall a good hotel with a couple of glitches. We arrived about 15 min early for a 2:00 PM check in. We were told to wait in the bar and they would let us know when the room was ready. 90 min later still no room. We decided to go explore the city and they would text me to let me know the room was ready. Didn’t hear until after 4:30 PM. A little frustrating but we accepted it. We had been offered free drinks in the bar after our 2nd ask for our room. Others checking in after us were offered drinks right away. Room was good and comfortable

This was my 1st time in Amsterdam and the staff at the front desk was extremely helpful from the moment I walked in. Apolline, Georgina, Alice, and Marizia were awesome and helped me navigate a new city. Whether it was with a some tips on things to do or helping me with directions! I would highly recommend this place. In the restaurant Sara and Davide, behind the bar with great conversation and even better drinks. Maya, Tom, and Dan gave 10/10 service! Making sure everyone around them were taken care of. 10/10 service in the entire place, I cannot recommend it enough.

The reading lamp for the top bunk did not work. It made a high-pitched electrical sound when switched on. We reported this - and maintenance did visit the room to make it safe. It was not fixed though. The wall behind the bunks was visible from room - we could see unsightly drilling and electrical cabling. In the same area of the room, the metal retainer on the inside of the window was hanging off. The full-length mirror was hanging a little squint, exposing unpainted wall behind it. The sink tap was loose. There was an unsightly stain on rug by double bed (clock side). There was a sticky mark on window heating vents (clock side). QR code for room service points to a dead link. We could only cast audio to the TV (we also have a Samsung TV - I do not think the problem was us). The TV would constantly buffer, rendering the TV unusable. The room looked as if it had seen better days...Cleaning and maintenance are poor.
