The hotel is located in a very beautiful area of Museum Square. The personnel is really polite and friendly, the matrasses are comfortable. However, I would advise to improve the sound isolation, unfortunately, it can be very noisy.

Hello Stayed one night from 13.10 to 14.10 The location is excellent Accommodation conditions are as in the description, the women's room has three showers and clean toilets, there is a hairdryer, a robe, a towel, and no slippers. The staff didn't seem very friendly to us. For one night we paid a deposit of 50 euros. Breakfast is available for an additional fee We lived on the top floor and the stairs were very steep It's okay to go up, it's scary to go down We slept in the upper capsule, the only inconvenience was the stairs in the capsule My rating from 10 points I give 7 points

The service attitude of the staff is quite good, and the location is very convenient, but the breakfast selection is small and the food is average.

Very TOXIC ENVIRONMENT. staff ABUSE THEIR RIGHTS (perhaps requested by management?) and STEAL YOUR MONEY. When arriving, you are obliged to sign a document that you are susceptible to pay 200 euros penalty or to be kicked out without any proof or reason and WITHOUT REFUND. HORRIBLE STAFF. Never had such a negative experience in any hotel in the whole world in my life!!!

We had a really lovely experience at de bedstee which exceeded our expectations. The capsule was much more spacious than we expected (I’m around 5 ft 5 and could kneel) and the air conditioning kept it nice and cool. The double bed was very comfortable with multiple plug sockets and adjustable LED lights and there was enough space on a shelving unit to keep your bags and shoes in - the capsule is obviously lockable so keeps your belongings safe. The wifi was excellent. Also came with dressing gowns and towels for the communal bathrooms. The bathroom was very clean and well equipped with soap, shower gel shampoo and hairdryers. We had a stressful journey with our flight being cancelled and then rebooked with multiple delays, and the staff were very accommodating to this and let us check in very late at night with no additional cost. The only thing is that we were on the top ‘bunk’ which made it a little tricky to climb up the ladder into the capsule but this was not a deal breaker. Location was good, 20-30 min walk into the centre of amsterdam. Would definitely stay here again!!

If your looking for clean, well maintained, value for money and well positioned accommodation then this is the place for you. Each capsule is lockable and has ventilation connected to central air conditioning. The breakfast offered is a great buffet selection with Barista made coffee offered. The hotel is located close to the Amsterdam, Concertgebouw tram station so easy to get in, out and around Amsterdam. Highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for value accommodation in Amsterdam.

It's a great hotel. The receptionists are very friendly and willing to help with everything. The location is fantastic, it will literally take you less than 2 minutes to get to the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum by foot. The breakfast is delicious. The only negative point is that you must have your credit card with you. I paid the hotel some days before getting there with another credit card than the one I took with me in the travel and they did not accept it. But fortunately I could pay with the one I took with me. But I would go back again. Thank you De Bedstee Staff!

Yes there you are at the opening of the capsule (as they call it) laughing and screaming at the impression. You can't put suitcases in the loft, you can't hang anything. So everything just dumped in the hallway, hope no one is there. Looking for the shared toilet, even worse looking for the shower where you can hopefully change for the night. Hellish caraway with a few bottles of wine in the body. Whether we wanted to be quiet...Unfortunately failed. Sorry

Bij dit hotel word je vriendelijkontvangen en de barruimte is aangenaam. De zogenaamde capsule alias bedstee ziet er goed uit maar is ook niet veel groter dan een bedstee. Licht en wifi zijn in orde, bed ook en je bagage kun je goed kwijt, als je alleen bent. Dat is mooi. Maar het blijft een beperkte ruimte en je moet niet claustrofobisch zijn. Ook is het wat gehorig en moet je lenig genoeg zijn om het trapje op te gaan dat bij veel bestedes beklommen moet worden. Het ontbijt is niet overvloedig maar heeft alles wat je wilt, van diverse soorten fruit, sap, muesli, melk, brood, zoete broodjes, kaas en worst tot koffies, theesoorten en warme hapjes zoals worst en ei. De ligging is ook prima vlakbij het museumplein
