Booked a room with private bathroom and it was clean and comfortable. Right next to a beautiful park which was nice and peaceful to stroll through in the morning and a stone throws away from trams to the city. Staff were very friendly.

I forgot my shoes irresponsibly in the luggage storage area. But, the innkeeper was able to save them and kindly gave them back to me. This place is homey, safe, and fair. I even paid extra for the breakfast out of my choice and enjoyed value for euro!

Generator Amsterdam is my favourite hotel. Love the location in Oosterpark, near the centre of the city. Breakfast is top and the staff is super friendly. See you next time 😉🙌

It was a crazy and terrible experience, 0930am a man open the door without knocking, and said he is an Air conditioning repairman. But WE ARE LADIES!!! Luckily, we are not changing clothes. We go to front desk to complain and the manager just checking did we pay the dog fee at the first time. Obviously in the photo we just brought the cat in the hostel, but anyway we still paid while check-in. The manager is lack of respect and not care about the customer.

Generator is next to a Beautiful Park with may kind of tree, fresh and cool air.From the hotel to the Van Gogh museum is about 2 km. You can walk to see the city, it's also great.
The hotel staff is friendly and the service is good. The breakfast is delicious.
If i come here again, I sill choose it.😊😊😊😊😊

Very good hostel located within a lovely park. Decent sleep but the rooms are a tad small but the location more than majestic up for it. If you book a night then decide to rebook they will check you out at 10 and make you wait till 15:00 which is a pain, so to avoid block book.

Clean, comfy room with a large storage area underneath the bed for your luggage. I would recommend bringing your own towel etc but there are some you can rent from the reception. Would really recommend for solo travelers as everyone was super accommodating and friendly!
