We stayed couple of nights. Hotel staff at reception quite helpful. Room was on the ground floor and really tiny. Just bed and not much room for anything else. The cleaners when they cleaned the room moved all our staff around and took my can of been which is rather odd as it was closed and in my tote bag. I don't know if they might have think that it was empty and put it in rubbish? Anyways we did not liked that they went moved our personal staff around and went to our bag so only 2 stars for this. We are glad we did not had any valuables left in the room. Whey we said this to the reception staff they said they have talked to the cleaner and she said our claims were not trough. Well I am sorry, but I know what I have said and and what was in my room left. It's just a silly think nothing valuable. So no harm done. But I am writing it here for the principal only. Also the wifi in the hotel is very poor and does not work at all in the rooms. We had to use our data to watch a movie on our tablet in the evening. The positive thing about this hotel is that it right opposite the museums and have lots of restaurants, galleries and bars around. So great location.

Where to begin…… As I set on my journey from Ireland to Amsterdam with my colleagues for a work trip, go tobann we arrived at 11 and we were told to come back at 2, we then explored the city and arrived at 5 to be later told our room was not ready and there was no cleaner until 9 we waited for over an hour when we decided we had enough so myself and my colleague offered to change the sheets as we were absolutely wrecked from travelling, so we stripped the sheets and put new ones on as we are experienced household employees from a 5 star hotel and were made to work on our holiday.** not good enough ** If it wasn’t for Bernie the receptionist who was under immense pressure and was on the verge of meltdown we would have left. So she let us raid the fridge and enjoyed a lovely cool beverage of water and coke. She was also letting us have a late checkout which we were very grateful. We later found out Bernie had had enough and left the job for a better opportunity so her word meant nothing. There was a also another family going to the airport and were going to miss their flight, my colleague saved the day by calling them an Uber. We arrived in our room and to our horror, the toilet was our next enemy. It was Constanlty flowing like a waterfall and would not flush. We informed Bernie, who said they will have a look tomorrow. Tomorrow never came, however on the third day the toilet rose again and we woke up on a swimming pool. Our colleagues below us had a electrical shower, thank god no one was hurt. The next thing we heard was a bang at the door, an uninvited male asked us to check out, but we informed him there must of been a breakdown of communication in the system as we had made a deal as previously agreed with Bernie. We looked down and the place was drowned the water level had risen, looked like the canal had made its way up to the fourth floor. We were wrongly accused of damaging their plumbing system!!!!!!! As per receptionist the place was full of 💩which was us !!!!! 👀We must mention the stairs another safety hazard not suitable for anyone as I presume the stairway to heaven is an easier to climb!!! One colleague suffered a terrible concussion from the box mid floor left had side please be careful falls risk!! The reception which claims to be 24 hour service was NOT!!! We had to hand our keys over every time we left the building with a tacky shoe key ring attached. To add to this nightmare, I was also locked out of the downstairs toilet due to faulty locks and had to escape for my life. All in All there’s no place like home And this place is literally full of 💩 except Bernie and benji

I pre booked online, however I Had my passport stolen and that's where the nightmare begins. I do have it saved as a pic on my phone, so was hopeful. I was stressed so needed a sleep as tomorrow is a new day. They wouldn't accept that as is it's gov policy. This was 10 at night, panic hit!!! However they told me to walk To the police station, get the police to call them and confirm I can stay and I'll be allowed to, so that's what I did(police station 2 miles away) After extensive talks with the police I persuaded them to ring him...he then told them I wasn't welcome there, I'm annoying and I owed them €800 for one night stay!!! I'm lost for words!! A wonderful hotel let me stay with just a phone pic of my passport even though that was an extra 200 euros, but upto that point I thought I was on the streets. Please avoid this place!

Look at the photos. This place is disgusting. I am being as blunt as possible because people are staying here despite the evidence stacked against the 'hotel' that it is absolutely horrible. The staff were rude & lazy. But besides that, it's dirty. Filthy. The positive reviews are questionable because they do not at all match with my experience here & that is unfair because I was 'tricked' into staying here. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!

A REGA NO!

Scandaleux!!!! N y allez pas !!!!!!!!
