absolutely amazing. the location of the sunflower is in the perfect spot. about a 10 min walk from the red light district. perfect for two people. the stay was quite and comfy. our host chris and his staff was the nicest & most helpful with everything we needed. cleaned the room daily and even called us a cab for our early morning venture to the next stop. there’s absolutely nothing negative to say about the entire experience and we will be staying here again when we return.

A wonderful stay! Chris was so helpful, quick at answering messages and requests. Location was fantastic - could walk everywhere. Great restaurant recommendations. Recommend the Sichuan restaurant! Beautiful room, quiet and comfortable. Loved all the extra goodies in the room. Will fully recommend this and would stay here again!

My wife and I had a lovely 3 day stay here in February 2025. The room is great for 2 people, has a microwave & fridge, cutlery, cupos & plates. Fresh fruit and snack bars supplied daily. Great heating. Attached toilet and shower. STEEP FLIGHT OF STAIRS (which you'll need to carry your suitcase up . . .). Central location, about 10-15 minute walk from main train station (where you can get a direct connection to the Amsterday international airport). Note that there is no front desk or concierge; however staff (Mary Grace) were lovely and can be contacted via WhatsApp.

Had a great stay in Sunflower b&b. Brilliant location, just a short walk to tram station and 15 minute walk to centre. Room was well equipped with all you would need. Only slight drawback was steps but host offered to help with bags. All in all a great stay and would highly recommend.

Just had a mini break here could not fault anything, Chris the owner was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed even before we got to amsterdam with information for our stay and finding the b&b. The apartment was very clean and spacious, and he had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Perfect location close to all shops and cafes. Would definitely stay again when back in Amsterdam.

We were so happy that we stayed at the Sunflower. It was within walking distance of so many things and close to public transportation as well. The room is well appointed and came with beer and juice in the fridge! Everything we needed was there, including snacks and housekeeping was above our expectations. The bed is large and comfy and the place is located on a side street which all means a good night sleep. If you want an "off the beaten tourist path" experience, stay at the Sunflower.

Great place to stay, very helpful host including Mary G. who waited for us on a Sunday night due to our flight delay. Everything close by , so convenient with own entrance key. Would definitely recommended this stay.

I had read the reviews about the steep stairs and thought they would be no problem. Think of them almost like boat stairs. Very difficult with luggage. I was scared the first time I saw them but my husband managed to get our luggage up and down being very careful (we only had carry on bags, so I would not recommend if you have large suitcases).
The room is small but enough with a small additional room that can be used to dine or work. Location is fabulous. Would recommend for a short stay with small luggage. Self check in is super easy.
