Very Disappointing Stay - Unprofessional Staff and False Checkout Info I stayed at Hotel Teleport in Amsterdam and was really disappointed by the level of service. I booked through Trip.com, which clearly stated that checkout was possible until 14:00. Despite this, at exactly 12:30, a hotel staff member knocked on my door and told me — in a very unfriendly and unprofessional manner — that I had to leave immediately. He gave me just 20 minutes to pack up and check out, completely ignoring the information provided at the time of booking. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. If the hotel won’t honor the checkout times advertised on booking platforms, they need to fix that — and more importantly, train their staff to treat guests with respect. Just beyond the entrance door next to my room was the worst nightmare I’ve ever experienced. Every time it opened or closed, it made a loud, irritating noise followed by a banging sound. This continued even until 3:00 AM, making it impossible for us to get any sleep. By the way you need to know there is no Hairdryer in this room at all. Ich hatte über Trip.com gebucht, wo ausdrücklich angegeben war, dass der Check-out bis 14:00 Uhr möglich sei. Trotzdem klopfte um Punkt 12:30 Uhr ein Hotelmitarbeiter an meine Tür und teilte mir – sehr unfreundlich und unprofessionell – mit, dass ich sofort abreisen müsse. Er gab mir nur 20 Minuten Zeit zum Packen und Auschecken und ignorierte dabei völlig die bei der Buchung angegebenen Informationen. Diese Art der Behandlung ist inakzeptabel. Wenn das Hotel die auf Buchungsplattformen angegebenen Check-out-Zeiten nicht einhält, muss es das ändern – und vor allem sein Personal darin schulen, Gäste respektvoll zu behandeln. Direkt hinter der Eingangstür zu meinem Zimmer ereignete sich der schlimmste Albtraum, den ich je erlebt habe. Jedes Mal, wenn sie sich öffnete oder schloss, machte sie ein lautes, irritierendes Geräusch, gefolgt von einem knallenden Geräusch. Das ging sogar bis 3:00 Uhr morgens so weiter, dass wir kaum schlafen konnten. Übrigens: In diesem Zimmer gibt es überhaupt keinen Haartrockner. Ich werde hier nicht wieder übernachten und kann das Hotel Teleport Amsterdam definitiv nicht empfehlen.
