Hotel Pontsteiger

Hotel was in really good location. Even if we couldn’t get double bed as we wanted the price/performance ratio was really high. I would stay again there

Helpful and friendly staff, nice views of the river. No direct ferry to central station but there’s direct bus and the ferry to ndsm doesn’t take long. Overall a great hotel:)

The rooms are not as advertised, the one we had was tiny with a curtain that covered most of the room and behind the curtain was a window to the hallway. There’s no natural light so the room is very claustrophobic, depressing room! 4 USB ports but none of them worked. Travelled with friends and all of our rooms were similar. No full length mirror. Location isn’t very central.

+ like the location and view + staff at reception was friendly + rooms were very clean - breakfast is very basic (yoghurt, bread and croissant) - the heating system is a fan blowing hot air into the room. The fan is loud, and the air gets dry. I woke up with a bloody nose the last 2 nights. I think Americans are more used to this type of heating system, but for me it was suboptimal. Also you can't open the windows for fresh air. - No fridge in the room, would have expected that for a 4 star hotel.

I was surprised at how lovely the room was considering the price I paid for a night. One of the best sleeps i've had throughout my trip.

The hotel is nice. Especially the location. There needs to be a clear sign since the entrance of the hotel is not easily found. We had a comfort room which was a little small but very cute. Please dont bring alot of luggage here. There is not much room for this. We choose a room with a Window. So be aware what you choose if you are staying here. The toiletries products are nice and smell great. I also like it that the shower and the toilet are separate. Be aware when you shower that the water can go outside of the shower area. There was not really a hook to hang your towels or bathrope on. The towels were amazing nice and big and also you with a bathrope. We received complimentary bottles of water which was nice. The staff was kind to help carry my luggage since i had a back issue. I would love to comeback here Especially with a view over the water and if they fix these little issues.
