Hotel doesn’t offer many amenities, and even the ones they do weren’t available, caused new issues, or were broken and never addressed. Let’s start with the bathroom: shower floods the entire floor in your private bath, and they continue to take towels out of your room while never actually replacing them. No hairdryer was available, but a toilet wand was. He just lived to the left of the toilet on the ground, fully exposed. There was no toilet paper holder so a roll just lived to the left of the toilet on the shelf covering the plumbing. When our toilet broke day one, they took the flush plate off and just told us to reach into the wall and pull up on the mechanism that creates the water pressure to make a toilet flush. 48 hours later, we could smell that sewage/standing water smell coming out of the plumbing wall where we had to access the toilet “flusher”. The toiletry amenities are a bottle of two-in-One hair and body wash and a bottle of thin liquid soap for washing hands. They warned of not having AC regardless of having it listed as an amenity on their booking page. Fine. We’ll just will open the windows because it’s gorgeous summer weather. Except you can’t because it’s so loud you can barely sleep with them closed. Between trams running constantly and the drunks from the bar downstairs, you can choose to be at a comfortable temperature and have fitful sleep, or you can have it stifling but the noise level brought to “manageable with earplugs”. This isn’t an exaggeration, you can hear the front desk open soda cans like they making you listen for the bubbles. And that’s assuming you don’t have to listen to loud group arrivals after midnight, and after they settle in their continual conversations for the next two hours at a volume I that was unfortunately just shy of what only dogs can hear. Bring ear plus. Hope you’re on the floor of reception because that’s only one death trap staircase you have to navigate with your stuff. If not, you may have to drag your stuff up 2 or 3 more floors. the front desk people were nice, but never once bothered to help with our luggage even when they were in the way making things harder (for example- laundry is constantly piled up near the stairs; other peoples luggage is “stored” out front of reception, the vacuum is between rooms 14 and 15 which share a corner and the hose constantly just rolls around in front of the doors. Also, the front is not attended to 24/7 which makes check in and check out difficult. The water pressure and temperature changes at least 3 times a shower. Their “concierge’s service is limited to a board in the front desk area with a bunch of coupons for certain “experiences”. One night the entire tram had to be diverted so our stop literally wasn’t available (not shown on the train) because large detours were set up surrounding the zoo for several blocks in all directions. It was blocked with all sorts of emergency personnel. It turned out to be an event for kids, but consideri
