It's a shame that I got bitten by a tick after lying down for a while.
I wish the mattress would be vacuumed.
No curtains, mixed room for 8 people.
One shower and toilet in the room.
Bath towels, small lockers, and suitcase storage were free of charge.
A cash deposit of 20€ is required at check-in.
This will be refunded at check-out.

The hostel itself was good, especially since we wanted a cheap stay in a central location. We were in the red light district which was fine but still a little scary at night. As a young female traveller it made me feel uneasy that our room was on the first floor in this location with windows backing onto a courtyard and no proper lock on the door. Asides from that, staff were nice and room was fine.

The location is excellent. The hostel is very clean and modern, it looks as though it has been recently been renovated as it is very fresh. The room was for 6 people and there were 5 of us in our group and the room was spacious, clean and bright. Our room had its own bathroom which was very clean, the shower was hot and powerful too. Staff are very friendly and helpful, we got hungry at 1am and they were happy for us to order an Uber Eats. I’ve stayed in a few different hostels over the years in Amsterdam and this was definitely the nicest. There was minimal noise too, we were in room 10 which is just down a small flight of stairs. I stayed with my partner, 2 sisters and my dad who all agree the hostel is great value. The beds are comfortable too. We will definitely stay here again.
