The hotel booking is still exclusive of taxes. They upgraded me to a room at the highest floor with no lifts up to the extra one floor and it is very narrow!

The location is convenient for sightseeing, 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station and 8 minutes walk from Red Light District.
The hotel hallways are narrow and not flat, and you have to go up and down several small stairs to get to your room. It's like a maze. And the room is also quite small.
