Stay out! I had to stay 3 nights at this place and I really do not have enough words to describe how terrible it was! I have been to several hotels (low budget as well like 50 -60 euros per night in different European countries that were great) since I am travelling a lot but this was really the first time that I felt disgusted !The room was not clean at all, the sheets had hair on them, and stains all over, dust was over the bed frame. I got to the reception asking for other sheets they gave me and still few little hair and stains in some of them. I’ve mentioned it again but they did not seem to bother at all. The tent I slept in Sahara with all this sand was cleaner than this. Unfortunately, I could not stay elsewhere since I was travelling for work and it was booked for me, so I could not find something last minute that I could afford but if I could, I would have left the place immediately! Two of our colleagues told us that they found some very small bugs like cockroaches during the second /third day. The one at her bed !! and the other at the bathroom. I really have never written such a bad review for a hotel, but I am reading similar comments now about the cleanliness and from what I see this is smg that did not just happen on a bad day just on me and my colleagues but on contrary it happens a lot at this place for a long period of time, which means that the owners and personnel simply just don’t care about hygiene, they dont respect their clients that pay a considerable amount of money, and they do not do anything to fix this, thus keep putting clients’ health in danger!!! It’s a shame, so disrespectful and unacceptable! ! I don’t care about the old furniture the no aircon , the size, but there must be some minimum standards. Cleanliness is non negotiable regardless of the price of the room!!! If you find it with like 10 euros , it is maybe ok for some of you just for a night, but check the room and mainly the bed before going to sleep / sit and bring with you a towel, a pillowcase and a spray at least. I really don’t understand how some people write that they find it clean! We were 7 people in 7 different rooms and EVERYONE had to say something about the dirt!

Cheap hotel, and I wish I read the reviews before booking here. The hotel is dirty, from the reception to the rooms. The pillows are rock solid, and there are stains on the pillows & bedsheets. They have a bed bug infestation (see the attached photos). When I tried to contact the hotel to report the bed bugs, management refused to talk to me. Amsterdam health authority have been contacted. 1 absolutely disgusting! Broken windows , ants . Bugs all over the bed, stains on the bed sheet and hairs . Not even a regular pillow . Just half filled pillow cases . Looks fine on the website . In real life I would not let my dog stay there !! Then they refuse to refund and have no there room options . Complete and utter disgrace!!!! Do not waste your money and time going to the place . In the end we found an amazing hotel for exactly the same price that was beautiful and not one bug or cum stain in sight 🤬😂

I am quite surprised by the amount of negative reviews for this place . Staff was friendly, rooms are cleaned daily. Showers good, breakfast is ok with free refills on the coffee, Location is good, the tram is right outside the hotel get the number 17 into town which takes about 15 mins Even had a few bars/food places/Lidl/“coffee shop” within a 5 mins walk.

I was very worried after booking and reading many terrible reviews. It's true that people only write bad ones! I'm not! The hotel was clean, comfortable and felt safe. Could do with air con during summer months but was supplied with a HUGE fan to help. We were ground floor near a semi busy road but in all honesty for a small group of lads experiencing amsterdam that didn't really bother us. Plus within 10mins walking distance there are some lovely places to get a coffee and breakfast in the morning. Tram ride is 20 minutes to Dam Square and very easily accessible. The hotel even sorted out our 3 day passes for this and booked the Ice Bar for us. Wouldn't say it was a hotel for families etc due to being a basic budget hotel but it was fit for purpose and I can't really complain.

When we walked into the hotel both myself and my partner didn’t feel safe at all. Very bad vibes from the outset which was a shame because the man on the front desk was actually quite friendly and helpful. The room itself was smaller than we thought it would be but we both agreed that it would do for the 4 nights we stayed…although I did regularly look to see if there were any other places available for us to move to every single day of our break. To say the place was unclean was an understatement. The linens weren’t clean and neither were the towels. Which is why we asked for fresh towels every single day. But the worst thing…was the dirty, used women’s underwear that I found in the bedside table. I went to reception and asked that it be removed and the area thoroughly cleaned before we returned back that evening. Upon returning, we checked the room and the underwear was STILL THERE!! Felt so sick but had to get a plastic bag and take them down to reception seeing as they didn’t feel the need to remove them. No reaction at all but was offered a can of any drink I wanted?!? Honestly I have no words. Had there been anything available we would have moved straight away. Both myself and my partner have come away feeling incredibly unclean and have come to terms with the fact we’ve probably caught something from the state of the sheets. One of the receptionists was quite nice and it is good for tram links. Literally nothing else I can say about this place apart from that from a positive point of view.

Nice clean bedroom and large bed Bathroom smells of sewage enough to make you feel queezy so had to sleep with the window open. The staff on arrival friendly and help full. Staf in the morning I think must of woke up on wrong side of bed. Breakfast overpriced and no hot food. The staff member just heated a croissant for us.

Not the place to stay if you're looking for a good night's sleep! The hotel is very basic but clean. No air con so we had to keep the windows open which unfortunately faced on to the main road with traffic & trams running all night ,pedestrian crossings beeping & the 24 hour bar below. It was very noisy. Also although there were tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms we had to plug the kettle in on the floor as the sockets weren't in useful places. Also having used the teabags on our first morning they weren't replaced & only powdered creamer for coffee nothing for tea!
