Great location and a stone’s throw from Central Station. Very helpful staff with a warm friendly approach. They all deserve positive feedback and remain motivated for those travellers coming for short stays.

The hotel location is good. It would be good if the amenities can be placed in the room without requesting on a daily basis.

Enjoyed my first stay at Kimpton in Amsterdam, its a large hotel with spacious rooms. Bathroom and bedroom space was good (King room, no balcony), and we enjoyed having a view. Service was helpful and friendly and conveniently located only 5min from Amsterdam Centraal station making it convenient to travel to and from the hotel.

The location is excellent, just 5 mins walk to Amsterdam Central and many restaurants and bars nearby. and breakfast is good too.

I think this was the most disappointing stay in Amsterdam and i’ve been there more than 30 times trying different hotels.
There is no way this is a 5 star hotel… no Spa, no pool , and a very poor breakfast…
Rooms are tiny and extremely noisy ( i got the room above the bar and you can hear the noise from there as well as the trameway )…
Cleaning is average ( floor wad dusty the whole stay )
Amneties are not provided unless you ask ( and then you wait for 5 minutrs to one hour to get them … and this in case they don’t “forget” )
Check in was horrible… i waited 3 hours to have my room ready after a flight of 19 hours and the reception staff ( except one to be fair ) was acting like they didn’t work there
I got an item taken during cleaning ( i left it on the bed and it was probably taken with the bedsheets )
I complained and no one actually got back to me until i checked out to stay : we will check with cleaning teams when they are back
AVOID staying here and go to art’otel ( hotel next door…) same price and 10000 better … i regret not taking it this time
