Rosewood Amsterdam

The hotel is located in the beautifully renovated Palace of Justice. It's a rare blend of history and contemporary luxury. The design pays respect to the building’s past and yet, creates a warm & welcoming environment. The guest rooms are beautiful with very elegant touches. Advocatuur bar is outstanding. It’s a fantastic concept and the execution is very well done, with a brilliant narrative. Congrats to the entire Rosewood Amsterdam team!

Just received the most incredible feedback from my VIP clients who stayed at the new Rosewood Amsterdam and I had to share. The rooms were absolutely exquisite, and the service was truly best in class. A very special thank you to Eef and his outstanding team for going above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless, thoughtful, and elevated. Amsterdam has a new gem.

Truly stunning hotel, blending history with exceptional modern amenities and service. Attentive and kind staff and we loved our fabulous room which had a gorgeous bathroom and super comfortable bed. The pool and spa are stunning and provide a perfect place to relax and unwind after days out exploring. Loved the breakfast (à la carte) which was plentiful and delicious. Had a fantastic evening in the bar, Advocatuur - the cocktails and small plates were divine!!! Cannot wait to return!

It’s a beautiful hotel, but still too many items that need to be improved: - we were not allowed to have a drink in the bar with my kid, completely not understandable why not. - when we were finally going (without our kid) to the bar, we were not allowed to go “as all seats were taken” and we weren’t allowed to stand at the bar. We were treated really roughly without any understanding by the lady who received us. Only after making a serious issue, we were allowed to come in the bar. Finally another bartender offered us a coup for compensation. But the lady clearly didn’t understood how to treat clients in such kind of 5 star hotels and didn’t understand that simple client request will always overrule principles (e.g. “no standing on the bar”). - the terrace outside was far understaffed. We needed to wait too long for drinks and orders. - In the morning, while sun was shining, the outside terrace remained strangely closed, very weird and not understandable. - In the swimming pool there was staff, but they did not took care of cleaning the old towels and were not doing the effort making it a great place for clients like offering just water or being friendly. Anyway, great and beautiful hotel, but the sense of 5 star hospitality is not on the level as the stars and price.

My family and I were excited to check out the new Rosewood property. It was busy, but the service was great. We got an amazing tour by Paul, the receptionist. He was able to show us around and highlighted cool details and art pieces throughout the building. Thank you so much!

We had a exceptional time at the new Rosewood in Amsterdam. It’s only been open for a couple of weeks, so a few small things didn’t go quite right—but everything was handled so charmingly and professionally that it only added to the experience. The interiors are absolutely beautiful—elegant and refined without being flashy. The spa was incredible—one of the best we’ve experienced. We had lunch at Eeuwen, which was fantastic: great food and a stunning setting. And the bar is a gem—warm, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed drink. The staff were all genuinely kind and welcoming. Easily the most beautiful hotel in Amsterdam. We’ll definitely be back!
