I saw on my Facebook that Am Rosewood just opened on May 1, 2025, so I must come and experience it. The decoration is a new European style, which girls will definitely love. The room has a high ceiling. Although the area is not large, it is still quite comfortable to live in. There is also a bathtub to relieve the fatigue of a day of citywalk. Breakfast is in the form of ordering, not buffet, and there are few choices. The young men and women at the front desk, concierge, and restaurant are warm and thoughtful, and they are also good-looking. It was a wonderful time.

We just spent a delightful weekend in Amsterdam with Rosewood. We were apprehensive having had a bad experience at a previous rosewood. But this restored our faith completely. The hotel is newly opened and as such everything is new and shiny. The team were warm and welcoming, the rooms comfortable, the spa relaxing and the f&b outlets were exactly what you needed. I would hope to see this hotel feature in the Worlds 50 Best list in the next round. Well done team.

The hotel is located in the beautifully renovated Palace of Justice. It's a rare blend of history and contemporary luxury. The design pays respect to the building’s past and yet, creates a warm & welcoming environment. The guest rooms are beautiful with very elegant touches. Advocatuur bar is outstanding. It’s a fantastic concept and the execution is very well done, with a brilliant narrative. Congrats to the entire Rosewood Amsterdam team!

Worst anniversary ever. We arrived around 12, they told us to have a drink at the lounge as the room will be ready soon and complimentary upgrade (amex platinum). Unfortunately we couldn’t even check in at 3pm (official check in time), so we lost half a day of our getaway. Also they couldn’t arrange a place for us to freshen up as we wanted to explore the city. They got us a free lunch which we didn’t even care about. When we went to the room we were even more disappointed, the room was different from the beautiful pictures, we got a 3rd rate dining table and chairs instead of the nice lounge chair of the pictures they show online (see it in the pictures I show). Also the name on the welcome card is totally wrong, and the canal view in the pictures of the site are only if you’re 2 meters big 🤣. We didn’t get an upgrade but even worse than the room we think we booked as described in the pictures. One tip don’t go. Especially when you booked 1300 euro for one night 🤬 Update: we just went back to our room around midnight and they gave us a bottle of champagne with a sorry card (I don’t even understand why they can make everything all right with a bottle as they don’t even know if we drink or not). Irony was they put it next to the old card with the wrong name, check photo🤣 We travel alot around the world and this never happened in any of the five star hotels we visited.

I was passing through Amsterdam, and some friends invited me to this newly opened restaurant, in the Rosewood hotel. Places like this should be a guarantee, but no, the food was acceptable, but the service was non-existent, waiting times were too long, there was no wine and it wasn't indicated, in short you expect there to be professionals working in these places, but no, too bad.

Just received the most incredible feedback from my VIP clients who stayed at the new Rosewood Amsterdam and I had to share. The rooms were absolutely exquisite, and the service was truly best in class. This brand new hotel is full of charm and surprises. The art pieces are magnificent and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Gabriella will answer every call and request with a smile. Robin served our big party for a wonderful dinner with grace, efficiency and patience. Maria is a hostess who cares and does whatever is necessary to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy your meal. Make sure you find the two grandfather clocks for an interesting surprise. Thank you to everyone at the Rosewood in Amsterdam. See you in September!

Truly stunning hotel, blending history with exceptional modern amenities and service. Attentive and kind staff and we loved our fabulous room which had a gorgeous bathroom and super comfortable bed. The pool and spa are stunning and provide a perfect place to relax and unwind after days out exploring. Loved the breakfast (à la carte) which was plentiful and delicious. Had a fantastic evening in the bar, Advocatuur - the cocktails and small plates were divine!!! Cannot wait to return!

It’s a beautiful hotel, but still too many items that need to be improved: - we were not allowed to have a drink in the bar with my kid, completely not understandable why not. - when we were finally going (without our kid) to the bar, we were not allowed to go “as all seats were taken” and we weren’t allowed to stand at the bar. We were treated really roughly without any understanding by the lady who received us. Only after making a serious issue, we were allowed to come in the bar. Finally another bartender offered us a coup for compensation. But the lady clearly didn’t understood how to treat clients in such kind of 5 star hotels and didn’t understand that simple client request will always overrule principles (e.g. “no standing on the bar”). - the terrace outside was far understaffed. We needed to wait too long for drinks and orders. - In the morning, while sun was shining, the outside terrace remained strangely closed, very weird and not understandable. - In the swimming pool there was staff, but they did not took care of cleaning the old towels and were not doing the effort making it a great place for clients like offering just water or being friendly. Anyway, great and beautiful hotel, but the sense of 5 star hospitality is not on the level as the stars and price.
