I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent stay at Hotel Regal, Amritsar . As a frequent traveler who has visited numerous cities and countries, I must say this has been the most unpleasant experience I have ever had at a hotel. Here are the major issues I encountered during my stay: - The hotel staff was uncooperative and unresponsive to complaints. - The bed sheets were stained and emitted an unpleasant odor, while the extra bed smelled worse, resembling an unwashed sheet. - Room service was nonexistent. Despite repeated complaints, issues were not resolved, and I had to personally check the room's cleanliness, which was unacceptable. - Tea and coffee were served only after 9:30 AM, and even then, it took over an hour after placing an order. To make matters worse, I was charged an exorbitant amount of ₹200 for just one cup of tea and two coffees, with no menu card provided to justify the pricing. - Only one complimentary water bottle was provided for three guests, and additional bottles were charged. - The hotel manager or owner displayed a lack of support and professionalism, further aggravating the situation. I stayed with my family, and the experience was nothing short of appalling. It is disheartening to see such a lack of basic hospitality and service standards. I cannot, in good faith, recommend Hotel Regal,Amritsar to anyone based on this experience
