I stayed in the Panorama room for two nights and truly wish I could’ve stayed longer. The place is stunning—bursting with color, charm, and thoughtful details. Perched above Aegiali, the property offers a breathtaking view that soothes the soul. It’s peaceful, poetic, and remote. There’s no noise—just the cicadas singing and a donkey braying in the distance. Theodoros and his wife are warm, welcoming, and helpful. I’ll definitely be back!

The cottages are done very tastefully having the best view on Amorgos. The host is also very helpful. They provide potable water from a tap outside the reception. That was very helpful avoiding brining lots of water from the store and also reducing the number of plastic bottles.

Pano Gitonia is truly lovely - it’s even better than the official hotel pictures! I stayed for five nights in the Almond Room and it was like a piece of paradise! Loads of space, gorgeous views from your private terrace, spectacular sunsets, and a well-equipped kitchen so I could enjoy the fresh local produce I had bought in town. And Theo was very helpful and kind with lots of good suggestions of things to do. Even though it’s at the north end of Amorgos, I found it a great base to explore the whole island - very easy to get around as long as you have your own car.

All the TripAdvisor reviews are so positive and they are right! Pano Gitonia has been our favourite stay during our Greek island hopping adventure. We stayed in “A Room with a View” and what a stunning view! Sunsets were spectacular rivalling those tourist infested sunset spots on Santorini. The apartment was charming and full of character yet modern with all amenities. Theo is a delightful host and helped us whenever we asked. This is THE accomodation we would choose on Amorgos.

We stay in Pano Gitonia just for five nights, but we loved this Place. Besides the wonderful view, Anna's studio is lovely and you could enjoy the best privacy and magic silence. Theodoros is a very good (and patient too!) host. We loved Pano Gitonia so much (and also the donkey!) We hope to come back soon.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette très jolie résidence soignée aux vues magnifiques sur la baie tranquille d’Agiali d’où nous avons profité de couchers de soleils magnifiques depuis la terrasse de notre appartement Panorama ( tous donnent sur la baie) A l’intérieur comme sur la terrasse, tout le confort est là pour vous faire passer un agréable séjour. Le ménage est fait tous jours. Théodorous, le propriétaire est adorable et présent sur la résidence presque toute la journée. L’endroit est reposant, pas de bruit. Toutes les constructions sont en pierre extérieures et les terrasses en escaliers sont recouvertes de fleurs et d’amandiers. Comme tout est en montée à Amorgos, et qu’iI y a beaucoup de marches, mieux vaut prévoir une voiture pour rejoindre Aigiali depuis la résidence située sur les hauteurs à Potamos et pouvoir en remonter. Depuis la résidence, on peut randonner jusqu’aux très beaux villages voisins de Langada et Tholoria et aller se baigner à la petite plage de Lombroso. Très beaux sentiers fleuris à cette époque de l’année. Ne pas manquer d’aller manger à la taverne traditionnelle du frère de Théo , To Nimani, au label Agean cuisine, où tout est délicieux et fait maison et où l’attention au client est de mise.

Le Pano Gitonia est un super endroit pour se ressourcer dans un cadre magnifique (vue sur la baie d'Aegiali) et typique (anciennes maisons rénovée avec beaucoup de goût). De plus l'hôte est très à l'écoute de ses visiteurs et toujours prêt a rendre service. Si je dois revenir à Amorgos, je reviendrai au Pano Gitonia sans hésiter! Et pour les randonneurs, il est aussi idéalement placé pour parcourir le magnifique chemin vers Chora et le monastère. Merci!
