We had a wonderful, quiet & undisturbed stay at the Anglers Lodge. The place is tranquil and was not crowded, so we really enjoyed the spacious grounds of the Lodge. The communal kitchen and bathroom facilities were super clean. Overall very well maintained. The pool and games room were much fun for the children. We did fishing at the bay right outside the Lodge. There is minimum 15-20min drive out from the Lodge to Coromandel and the Peninsula.

Best lodge around auckland, very reasonable price with outstanding view, tiny and warm house, beautiful pool, nice kitchen, late arrival friendly.

What a treat. I arrived just before sunset on a perfect day. The views are outstanding, the beach gorgeous. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. I had a cute cabin with a comfy bed. The amenities are spotlessly clean and there are good instructions posted about. I would love to stay again and longer and if a bit warmer would try the pool or beach. There is also a spa pool Reasonably priced and worth every cent. I paid a small extra fee for towels and bedding, otherwise you can bring your own. Definitely worth the short uphill walk to sit and watch the sunset and a even quicker trip to the stream to see the enormous tuna/eels. I travel every week and stay in a lot of accommodation, this is a highlight.

We highly enjoyed our stay at Anglers Lodge. The boat launching service was awesome and the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Everything was tidy and well kept, with all the facilities we’ll set up. We will definitely be back

Lovely camp with excellent facilities that are spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ideal spot for boat fishermen with launching, retrieval and cleaning facilities but also a great spot to be based to explore the surrounding Coromandel areas

Can’t fault this place. Beautiful spot and a great location if you’re wanting quiet and peaceful surroundings. I can not fault the ammenities! Extremely clean and well kept with amazing hot showers. A large pool (not heater), games room with a pool table and TV, complete kitchen with fridge and freezer and all appliances you may need, a spa (to hire), a great undercover BBQ area with seating, lovely staff, there are both cabins and powered/non-powered sights sight’s available.
