Ibis Styles Amiens Centre
4.3/568 Reviews
What can I say? For an Ibis Hotel, it surpasses my expectations! Just wow! Spacious receiving and lounge area. Contemporary art design hotel. Hotel reception, Laure was the who received me, given me an option if I like the first room or not, she would gladly change it since I do not want a courtyard view. Sadly, they do not have room available facing the busy main streets but she gave me one with a view of Notre-Dame! Hugo, we started at the wrong foot wd regards to the AC thing but it was resolved immediately. He provided me with electric fan to cool down the room. In Amiens AC would only work towards Summer time otherwise there is no AC in the room. Room, toilet is huge and so neat to my surprise! Housekeeping staffs were so polite and cleans and make up room and toilet thoroughly. They even volunteer to change my used glasses. How thoughtful is that?! I asked for extra towels and gave it without hesitations!! Location is right across the train station behind the Perret Tower so don’t be fooled by google map and take you all the way around the back. Sevice bottle for water infront of the lift and coffee until 6pm but even after the close time, they will prepare you coffee or tea. Staffs: Laure, Elias, Hugo Kudos to the housekeeping management and staffs. Keep up the good work. Cons: Management should change the photo on their website for the Standard double room showing a balcony but for family room so that we will not presume we are going to have a balcony in that category. More Choices for breakfast. Orange machine breaks and it’s finished even as early as 8 sometimes. Do not refill. There is a stain on the room’s ceiling from maybe water leaking that needs to be addressd but not a bothersome. Highly recommend when in Amiens!
B&B Hotel Amiens Centre Cathédrale

I've been using this hotel since 2005 on and off and its steadily gone downhill and is now quite tired and overdue for a refresh. On my last visit (December 2021) staff were completely disinterested in scanning my French covid app, something that every tabac and restaurant did as a matter of course. For some reason the whole hotel was heated to about 26 degrees and the only way I could sleep was by turning the room thermostat right down and opening the window. At 9.45pm he bar was deserted, unlit and took some time for a member staff to arrive, only for the singel beer on offer to run out. All in all, not a great experience, especially after our stay in the Saint-Omer Ibis which is really welcoming and well run.
Moxy Amiens

Everything was of excellent quality, the staff's reception, the services the convenience (pizza and beer in front of the world's Cup game in the very pleasant common room) The only bathroom was a problem with the shower that was screwing all over the bathroom and a ventilation that seemed not to work otherwise all the rest was perfect
Logis hôtel - la Chambre d'Amiens
4.3/575 Reviews
Logis La Chambre d’Amiens was easy to find by Satnav but is tucked away behind some trees on your right as you exit the roundabout. Parking is ample and good and check in was friendly, although I do wonder why Logis hotels still require guests to fill out a lengthy booking-in document when they should already have the details on line via your booking. The hotel is an easy 20 minute stroll to the start of the town centre, but the riverside area of St Leu is another 10 minutes or so. Our room on the first floor (no 10) is of average size and with the minimal, but adequate storage space you tend to find in smaller hotel rooms. The en-suite is fine and has a good shower but, as it is of the walk-in variety, be prepared for a wet floor. The room also has a balcony with a couple of chairs, which is a bonus in hot weather. In any event, the hotel also has a rooftop terrace which is accessed via a small lounge on the first floor. Breakfast was a decent affair with fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals etc along with cold meats and cheeses; and you can also boil yourselves some eggs. There was also plenty of bread, pastries and cake. The coffee is from a machine but perfectly good. The one issue I’d raise about breakfast was the bowl of “fruit salad” which consisted mainly of strawberries that were either frozen for too long, or out of an ancient tin. Whatever the case, the fruit was soft and completely tasteless. My suggestion is that you either make a fresh fruit salad or use decent tinned fruit; but ditch these strawberries. Fortunately, there was also a bowl of stewed apples which were very good. We have had an enjoyable two days here, service throughout has been very good and we would certainly use this Logis again.
Odalys City Amiens Blamont

Not the easiest to find but worth it.. It is down a one way side street and you need to go the reception to get code for entrance to underground car park. Although room is fairly baisc it has fridge, microwave, plates and cutlery should you wish to eat in. It is convenient for local atttractions such as the cathedral and water gardens. Having underground secure parking is an added bonus. i
Grand Hotel de l'Univers
3.8/560 Reviews
The Grand Hôtel de l'Univers is located on a pedestrian-only street in center of Amiens, very conveniently located a very short walk from the train station. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the bathroom appeared recently-renovated. The rest of our room, and the common areas, however, were a bit more worn, and a little renovation wouldn't go amiss. WiFi was available, free, and it worked well. Our room was not air conditioned, which didn't matter much during our stay (September) but might be uncomfortable in mid-summer. The front desk staff were bilingual, very welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to help us. Overall, I'd give it a grade of A for location, A+ for the staff, and a B- for the overall condition of the facilities.
