Hôtel Spa Marotte

Hotel is a short walking distance from all the sites in Amien the old quarter eating places. Excellent penthouse room with balcony complete with sofa and two chairs, sauna, separate kitchen and bathroom areas. Secure parking provide in an old factory unit a block from the hotel. Staff could not be more pleasant and helpful, particularly the Ukrainian lady who checked us in. Continental style breakfast (cheese, ham, yoghurts etc.) can be taken across the road in the spa block at an additional cost and by pre-booking the night before. Will have no hesitation in booking in here again.

We love this hotel and the city of Amiens. This was our fourth visit. The hotel is well-positioned for the station, cathedral and shops, but also has local covered parking. The rooms are a great size, the beds comfortable and it is great to actually have a bath in the bathroom.

I had an excellent stay at this wonderful hotel in Amiens. Thanks to the lovely staff, I could enjoy my time at this very picturesque town in Northern France. Very beautiful family business and I wish them the best. I recommend the spa services and the wine/champagne bar to have the full experience.

Wonderful hotel. The warmest of welcomes. Immaculately clean. Central location. Would highly recommend this amazing hotel. Attention to detail is 100%. Lovely staff. Nothing too much trouble. Amazing!

a wonderful, warm welcome from Estelle gets us off to a good start! right in the centre of Amiens, walking distance from everything and with private parking. Very nice Spa which has everything yoi need for a couple of hours of relaxation. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It’s nice get a surprise like this.

We had a minor issue with the room which we needed help with. We were promised the manager would come up to sort. After repeated phone calls to see when the manager might arrive, we spoke to a lady who told us that the manager had gone home. When we tried to establish why this had happened given the numerous promises that the manager would ‘ be with us in ten minutes,’ this person (who refused to give us their name) made no attempt to explain. The strange thing about the conversation was that the lady seemed to find the whole situation quite amusing. I asked for her to arrange for me to meet with the manager the following morning and gave her my email address to confirm the meeting. She then explained that she was the owner of the hotel and that there would be no meeting. Again, she seemed to find the whole situation extremely amusing. I was clearly getting nowhere so I decided to accept the situation. The bottom line here was that my experience was that the staff and management of this hotel are not really interested in customers and respond to requests for help as a tiresome bore.
