Those who have never lived on a boat may wish to consider taking a look at the small and exquisite interior. There are various shops, restaurants, and a Chinese supermarket nearby in about 5 minutes. The convenience is that I can't find the house number, because it is a boat parked by the river. It was too late at night, so I couldn't find it. I called later, and the proprietress came over right away. It was easy to find during the day, because the door of the ship was open and closed at night.

What a fantastic experience staying on this beautifully restored boat. Within walking distance of amersfoort's historical town centre but peaceful at night. Also easy walk to the train station for day trips. Elene is a wonderful host, happy to help with any info you need. Fantastic breakfast with great coffee, freshly squeezed juice, local bread and fresh fruit, eggs, cheese, yoghurt. An experience to remember, we didn't want to leave!

Best value for money ever! Such a cozy little place, charming ship. Cozy open fire. The room was really small, but what do you actually need. Toilet, good shower and a comfortable bed. Such a pleasant stay, i can recommend it for sure. Did not try the breakfast, but i saw a lady eating it and it looked good. The lady in the service was so pleasant

Voor de t****e keer met mijn familie pasen gevierd in Amersfoort op de Vita Nova. Het was weer fantastisch. Gezellig, schoon en de boot ligt midden in de gezellige binnenstad van Amersfoort. Ik kan iedereen aanraden om in de Vita Nova te overnachten. Het is een goede uitvalbasis om Amersfoort of de rest van Nederland te ontdekken. Wij komen zeker weer terug. Top 👍

Wir übernachteten während einer Nacht auf der Vita Nova. Es war eine tolle Erfahrubg in einem ungebauten Boot zu pbernachten. Mit Liebe zum Detail wurde dieses umgebaut und dekoriert! Die Betten sind sehr bequem, das Badezimmer für die Verhältnisse grosszügig. Das Fenster lässt sich mittels Fernbedienung öffnen und schliessen, ebenso das Verdeck. Der Lärm von der Velo-Strasse ist am Abend und am Morgen hörbar, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Die Gastgeberin ist sehe freundlich und offen. Das Hightlight ist das feine und ausgewogene Frühstück. Frischen, leckeren Kaffe und Orangensaft, sehr gutes Brot, Käse, Brotaufstrich, Joghurt mit Müesli und Früchten sowie ein frisches Ei! Es gibt eine grosse Auswahl an Games und Zeitschriften. Ebenso gibt es eine Minibar, unter anderem mit Spezialbieren, sehr zu empfehlen diese auszuprobieren. Einziger Minuspunkt: die Schiebetüre zum Bad war in unserem Zimmer defekt und war sehr mühsam diese zu schliessen.

Het genoegen gehad om als eerste bezoekers in 'De Roef' te mogen verblijven. Wij hebben echt een super weekend gehad! Het is al een hele ervaring om in een boot te mogen slapen en de ruimte maakt het ook nog eens super leuk en knus. Je hebt je eigen zithoek met pellet kachel, grote bedstee om in te slapen en je eigen badkamer. Het is haast zonde om 's avonds nog de deur uit te gaan om iets te gaan doen. Naast de fijne accommodatie is het ontbijt ook nog heerlijk en is Elene een super gastvrouw. Al met al hebben wij een top weekend gehad!

Super leuke overnachting gehad op de Vita Nova. Ontbijt was super geregeld en alles heerlijk vers en ruim voldoende. Heerlijk geslapen in de schone en nette hut. Aardige gastvrij en vanuit de boot loop je zo naar 2 gezellige locaties waar je kan eten en drinken met een gezellige tuin.
