We visited villa Crespi for our anniversary. A wonderful retreat in a spectacular location. Especially in fall. Overall experience was great. We chose it for dining at Cannavacciuolo's renowned restaurant. Some disappointing details in both the room cleanliness and the restaurant plating, considering the very high expectations. Otherwise a top destination by any standard worldwide

I saw this villa in a photo and knew I needed to see it for myself and it did not disappoint. Located just North of Milian overlooking Lake Maggiore it was just breathtaking. The gardens upon arrival were stunning. The old-world exterior is very well-kept and allows you to take a historical trip back in time. Receiving Staff – When I arrived the staff was so warm and inviting. I like that they did have young adults at the front desk. They were super excited to have me and very knowledgeable. Everything I thought I might want they were there to make the arrangements. From a private boat service to dinner with the GM that gave me an amazing culinary experience to included true interaction with the head chef and kitchen staff. My every wish was their command. Room Configuration – My room blew me away. It just happened to be in my favorite color pallet lavender. Large room with a beautiful balcony facing the amazing Lake Maggiore. The bathroom was so spacious with a jacuzzi tub which I took advantage of and a large sitting area. Turndown Service – This was the standard service with the pillow removal and robes and slippers with bedside towel and water and sweet treat. Breakfast – This was an experience in itself. The food was so fresh you could really appreciate the pure taste of each item. The was such a large variety of things to choose from. I could have spent half of my day there dining. Seated on the outside terrace again overlooking Lake Maggiore and the stunning gardens make for a quaint esthetic. Hotel Location – I initially was intimidated about how to get to this property. After speaking to the concierge and they provided several options I decided to go with a private car service. This allowed us to see several of the sights along the way. When I left, however, I did decide to try the train service back to Milan. It was very simple the train station was only 1 min from the hotel and the train ride was 1hr and the cost was 14 Euro. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The hotel is located less than 10 minutes from the central square of Orta. What is not liked · One neo: too short stay ... A point instead, a very unpleasant thing, but not because of management, but some guests. A dog in breakfast room that continued to drop during breakfast ... OK the animals allowed, now almost in every structure, but the owners that allow their four legs to disturb others, is quite irritant ...

We stayed here as part of our Viking extension. We had a nice room overlooking the lake. The bed was not the best, and as with older hotels, there were some ”charming” things to consider. We turned on the little lights on the ceiling, and they blew out. The bedside lamp had a frayed cloth wire with the metal exposed (I have not seen such a wire in probably 50 years). We reported these issues, but it was a weekend. I expected the lamp to be replaced because that's definitely a fire hazard, but no. Anyway, it's a pretty place, the air conditioning worked well, and it's a five minute walk to town with its many restaurants.

Breakfast is too good! The train station walks 300 meters. Opposite the lake can take a boat. Bathroom accessories are exquisite! Staff is very friendly and introduces many attractions! The lake room is great

Where do we begin! Paid for superior room 15 months before the holiday, organised by leger holidays. On arrival after getting in the room I had to call reception to check we had been given a superior room. Very small bathroom with shower and very tired looking. Room acceptable, until we looked out to find part of the building obscuring lake view. Dreadful noise from next door morning and very late every night, when I asked about it at reception I was told it was a guest! I knew full well it wasnt as no room number on the door......it was staff accommodation.....4 beds we saw as the door was left open. I asked to upgrade again told no available rooms. Food was basic and often inedible, definitely catered for coach holiday not the hotels full menu, standard was unacceptable. Bed was made daily and towels changed as necessary but sadly bathroom not cleaned all the week we were there. Breakfast was good and leila worked so hard in the breakfast room, always with a smile. Good position hotel on edge of village but sadly not all superior rooms got a good view. Outdoor areas and pool we're nice. Definitely needs more attention to detail, and would not recommend to anyone who expects a good standard. Wouldn't recommend leger either.

It’s just not good, it’s too good for vacation. The room is perfect. The entire corner of the manor is very clean. Although the front desk has a strange accent, it is a very reassuring resort hotel. The little castle just happened to have a wedding. It took a very nice and quiet day. Everything is very good, breakfast is not much, but it is delicious. The set menu of 70 euros for dinner is recommended. In addition to the location, there is no great scenery. The hotel is very good.
