Asana Biak Papua Hotel

This is a historic hotel established in 1954, the first modern hotel on the island of Biak. But because of this, the facilities and decoration of the hotel are seriously aging, the bathroom is hard to look at, the sound insulation of the room is not good, and there are foreigners tossing around at night, making it hard to sleep. The advantages are also obvious, that is, the natural ecology is good, it is close to the sea, and there are gardens for activities. I went to Biak Island to shoot the total solar eclipse, and I took pictures by the swimming pool that day, which was very comfortable! Facilities: Seriously aging Environment: Eco-hotel, there may be insects and geckos in the room, don't stay if you are afraid. Service: The guy at the front desk is very simple, he made friends on the first day we met, took me to the north of the island by motorcycle for free to take pictures, and invited him to dinner when he came back! Breakfast is relatively simple, but no one checks if you have meal coupons, eat whatever you want!

It was a pleasant experience to be able to stay at the Asana Biak Hotel, the view directly facing the sea and the beautiful courtyard made us feel happy and comfortable.

We stayed 7 days at the Asana - this hotel is simple - due to its nostalgic architecture and its location directly on the sea - an experience and the best choice on Biak! Of course - since few westerners stray here - it is mainly designed for local tourists and business people as well as events !!! The new management tries very hard to accommodate and satisfy the western travelers. An Indonesian standard is primarily offered. Accordingly, the recessions should then also be posted!
