A very well organized place to stay and remarkably clean and beautiful, it overlooks the Kilimanjaro, amazing service and great food. Rooms are big and bathrooms clean, chargers on site for US phones, 4 course meals served in an elegant fashion!

What a fantastic place to stay when doing your safaris in Amboselli area. The grounds are explicit, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the atmosphere is amazing, the quality of the food is fingerlicking good and the staff are brilliant and simply the nicest people. Would recommend to anyone, including families with children. There is a fun and comfortable pool and deck chairs overlooking the waterhole where you can just relax with a drink and watch the animals as they come by. There a lovely colourful birds checking stuff out and the staff makes sure that the funny monkees will not become a nuisance, Would recommend going for the bush walk with Masai guide; you learn and see new things. - Beds are very comfortable - Shower takes long to warm up, if at all. Would recommend the staff to place a large bucket to not let water go to waste and use to water the plants. - Staff is super helpful, taking care of your room and protection against mosquitos. - Kilimanjaro view is majestic. - Food is amazing (!) but way way too much (three course for both lunch and dinner; after the first day we opted for one big meal a day and just took a starter of a main for the other). - No need to go to the national park every day. The conservancy is just a beautiful and suitable for game drives. We encountered Craig the famous elephant multiple times! We would love to come back one day!

This lodge is an excellent place to experience Kenya and Africa in general, the staff here is superb and extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.. they treat each individual with personal care. You feel that you were truly appreciated. The atmosphere is so calming and relaxing you feel that you can live here for ever. .

My family enjoyed the most breathtaking safari experience at Tawi Lodge, in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. Perfectly proportion African huts with wide decks and all you need for a safari getaway, welcome you to a restful and luxurious stay in Kenya. Beautiful food, drinks and a clean cold pool refresh you after some of the best guided tours I have experienced. Our guide Miana was knowledgeable and experienced in his job. He drove us carefully and considerately across the conservancy and game reserve. We saw an incredible array of birdlife and animals of all shapes and sizes. We were thrilled with what we saw and the way we were treated by all staff. I truly believe we saw as much as could have seen on the trip in the most private and intimate way. A lot of the time our group was 1 to 1 with nature.

My husband and I stayed at Tawi. Can’t say enough about the accommodations, the staff and chef. Looking out at Mt. Kilimanjaro every day! Amazing food after a beautiful safari and day. Too much food!! Ha! Staff were so hospitable and cared for us so gently and kindly. Views were amazing. The watering hole is magical with all the animals coming to it at dinner time. Craig, the oldest (elephant) tusker of the area visited!! Our guide, Tom was amazing. Really a special place.

We're a family of 4 who traveled through Kenya for 12 days. This hotel was the highlight. It was small and authentic. All of the staff were welcoming. The food was really amazing (especially after buffet after buffet at other hotels). Our room overlooked Mt. Kilimanjaro, which really made it special. Each night we would look up at the stars and just feel very fortunate that we found Tawi Lodge! No brainer.

What a breathtaking experience. The Tawi Lodge was how we kicked off our 4-night Kenyan Safari, and they set the bar INCREDIBLY high!! The folks at Tawi are very welcoming and make you feel at home. It's a beautiful camp, and you won't want to leave. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the hospitality was unparalleled. The grounds were very clean as well! It really hit me when one of the staff members had to walk me to my tent (mandatory once the sun goes down), and there was an entire FAMILY of warthogs next to my tent! They call them "pumbas" hahaha! I wish the ladies & gentlemen at this camp would come over to the USA and teach our hospitality workers a thing or two!! I will say one thing--the busy season is during the great migration!! We left the Masai Mara on June 9th, and there were TONS of safari vans driving in. When we stayed, approximately the few days before that, the camps were much slower.

Sublime. Beautiful balance of luxury and connection with nature. The cuisine is top notch and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Add unforgettable Tusker safaris with the gorgeous Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, and you are guaranteed a stay that will live on in memory.
