This pension with around 20 rooms looks like an European former convent : it's amazingly clean, calm, the rooms are big with a/c. The young owner and her husband are extremely helpful and speak good English. Indonesian style breakfast is served from 8 am. Free water, tea and coffee. Motorbike rental. Close to the market and the minibus stand.

The Wisma Grace accommodation in Ambon is simple but very clean. The location near the market is extremely convenient, especially if you want to experience authentic city life. What makes this place special, however, are the warm owners Gabby and Sonny. They were incredibly friendly and helpful and not only gave me valuable tips about the area, but also helped me organize my onward journey by ferry to Banda. Another highlight was the delicious Indonesian breakfast, which was served fresh every morning.
