Room standard was not good. Bathroom very bad condition. Old shower cabinet, with much black mould in the bottom, between tiles and in the ceiling. They should have done much better cleaning!!! The brekfast was almost ok, but we got too little bread/bageuet almost every day. The bathroom need upgrading as soon as possible!! Too little isolation between rooms.

The location was good but… The sewerage from the toilet came up into the shower base. I told the receptionist and they seemed to know about this issue and they did move us to a different room. The night lock was broken so anyone could walk into the hotel from the street overnight. The wifi was not working on our last night and was still not working when we checked out. The manager would not give us a partial refund and the receptionist asked why we did not tell them that the wifi was not working - the answer to that is that the reception was closed. Terrible experience -if you do stay there avoid room 1 ( sewerage), make sure night access is locked and bring your own data plan.

I couldn't really tell you what this place is all about because I couldn't check in. It turns out, if you come to the hotel after 8:30 pm the hotel is all closed up and you can't check in. As a result, I paid for this hotel and wasn't able to stay in it. As a result, we had to scurry around and find something else. I recommend the Novotel in Ambroise - it was a great place to stay. Additionally, the area outside the hotel is pretty dark/poorly lit at night and members of my party did not feel safe in this area.

I stayed in this hotel as part of a cycle touring holiday. It was one of my favourites on the tour, right in the centre of Ambroise. Large, clean rooms, friendly staff and air conditoning which not all hotels in the region have. Good breakfast also.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ J'avais quelques appréhensions avant de réserver en raison des anciens avis très négatifs, mais j’ai été agréablement surprise ! L'hôtel a manifestement été entièrement rénové. La salle de bain est refaite à neuf, aucune trace de moisissure, tout est propre et impeccable. La literie est confortable, la chambre était d’une propreté irréprochable et très calme. Bouilloire à disposition avec thé et café. TV, clim. Un mot sur le lit nous souhaitant la bienvenue avec notre nom de famille, c'est peut-être bête mais on a été touchés par l'attention. L’accueil a été excellent, chaleureux et professionnel. Les anciens avis ne reflètent absolument plus la réalité actuelle. L’hôtel mérite qu’on souligne les efforts considérables qui ont été faits pour tout remettre à niveau. Une vraie bonne surprise, je recommande sans hésitation !

Lanex qui porte bien son nom est le second hôtel des propriétaires du Chaptal dans la même rue. Idéalement situé au cœur d’Amboise. L’hôtel vient d’être rénové. C’est confortable, avec un coup de cœur pour le petit déjeuner « dans la cuisine ». On s’y sent vraiment bien.

Après un séjours de 2 semaines : - un Accueil comme il se fait très rare de trouver de nos jours - un Service de très grande qualité - un Restaurant où tout est fait maison, et en plus vous ne repartez pas le ventre vide - une Chambre très correct (propreté, salle de bain récente, un KF, un thé, petits gâteaux, bouteille d’eau ) En résumé ne pas Hésitez ici nous sommes à votre écoute, Alors Foncez pour vos réservations

Salles de bains insalubres. Moisissures noires au plafond et dans le bac à douche. Hotel 2 étoiles (enseigne) mais qui applique les tarifs d'un 3 étoiles. Les petits déjeuners sont trop justes. Pas de viennoiserie! Décevant et dégoutant!
