Very clean and very comfortable. On street parking right outside. Lovely little kitchen (shared) to make a coffee in the morning or prepare a bit of breakfast. Location couldn’t have been closer to the town. If we find ourselves in Amboise again (highly likely) we’ll be sure to stay here.

We--two couples--stayed at Villa Mary in Amboise for 5 nights and were extremely pleased with the two-bedroom apartment. The apartment was spotless, the beds were large and comfortable, each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom, and the location (on Ile d'Or in the middle of the River Loire) was convenient and charming. The kitchen contained cutlery, dishes, pots, coffee maker, cups, glasses, breakfast table with 4 chairs, small refrigerator--everything we needed. Mary, who speaks fluent English, was very helpful in giving us advice about restaurants, making reservations when we were having difficulty obtaining them, and accommodating any requests we had. Her apartment was the best of all our accommodations in France. We highly recommend Villa Mary!

Very clean and welcoming guest house. Our room and in-suite bathroom were comfortable and modern, and we had access to a small kitchen. Located on a large island in the middle of the Loire River and a ten minute walk from the shopping and restaurant streets in Amboise. Also just a 15 - 20 minute walk to Clos Luce, Leonardo Da Vinci's home, which is also highly recommended.

Totally comfortable and charming, spacious room hosted by the lovely Madame Mary. There are many thoughtful touches - good lighting, olive oil soaps, plenty of towels, great shower etc. The kitchen shared between the 2 rooms is also a very thoughtful addition with coffee machine and pods, tea, sugar etc. It was great to be able to make our own breakfast. We enjoyed hearing the local residents' comings and goings and chattting in the street below during the day. At night it was totally quiet and we had a perfect sleep. Finally, we very much appreciated Mary's flexibility in not just allowing us to leave our luggage on our arrival but also allowing us to check in early as our room was ready. Merci beaucoup!

From the outside we were a little disappointed because it is not a villa. However, we were welcomed very cordially by Mrs Mary's son, PierreFrançois. The room reserved for us was large, very clean, tastefully furnished and so was the bathroom. The bed very comfortable. We also had shared use of a fully equipped kitchen with another room. EXCELLENT price PierreFrançois helped us on several occasions. We stayed 3 nights.
