Excellent room and excellent location. A little bit funky, somebody else called it "shabby chic." The doors to the rooms locked with tiny little padlocks resulting in very little security. I don't see this is a big problem but some people might. Generous room, comfortable bed, creative but satisfactory bathroom. I told the proprietor when I would arrive, precisely when I would arrive. I arrived in a heavy rainstorm, and I was standing at the front door knocking. Nobody was there fortunately I was able to reach the proprietor on the phone and he gave me the access code. There's nothing wrong with that, that's fine, except that I should not have had to stand at the door wondering what was going on. Not appropriate and not courteous. It's the responsibility of the proprietor to communicate about this. Another client arrived when I was inside. They had the same situation, no information. Lucky for them, I was there to let them in and to explain to them how things worked. This could have been easily fixed with better communication.
