What a gem! Amazing B&B. Immaculately clean and tidy, beautiful family room with a stunning view. Great value for money especially in Ambleside. Wonderful breakfast. Poached eggs were perfect. Host was amazing too.

A great 3 nights spent at this guest house. Rooms very clean and homely while being contemporary. Breakfast a great choice to eat as little or as much as you like. Alison was very welcoming and the couple of times we asked her for extras, she accommodated us. Thanks again and cannot recommend enough.

Second time staying at this lovely guest house. Host Alison is very welcoming,allowed me to check into my single room early on Thursday after my drive from Northampton. What can I say everything was five star, excellent breakfast choices cooked to perfection. short walk into Ambleside. Excellent parking facilities right next to the guest house, parking pass supplied for your duration which covers a lot of car parks in the Lake's added bonus. We had a few rainy day's while visiting and Alison kindly dried my coat for me. Keep up the great work see you next year for our annual visit to Ambleside.

Fantastic, the location, the welcome were first class. Breakfast was out of this world the attentive service really could not be faulted, a little gem, were planning our next stay already.

A clean and newly furbished property managed by a capable and hospitable lady, serving good English breakfast. Our guest room with ensuite is facing the opposite side of the main road, so is quiet. The host also provides each guest a Business Parking Permit for free marking in a nearby council car park, which can also be used in other council car parks of the same council including one in Grasmere.

Another fantastic stay at The Lyndale guest house in Ambleside, Always a warm welcome from Alison, from the second you arrive, to the second you, sadly, leave, and she can't do enough for you to make your stay so enjoyable and memorable, Lovely rooms, clean, spacious, comfortable and all the amenities you need for your room, Delicious breakfast and Alison will accommodate any of your breakfast choices, Can't wait to return again next year.
