Our 3 days stay in the B&B is wonderful. We enjoy very much for the breakfast every day and with excellent service from Steve and Tina.
When my wife steps into the room, she immediately said it has the most beautiful bathroom she ever seen.

Does what a guest house should do well. Very clean and good level of maint throughout. Old charm with parking 4 cars. Bus stops outside. Breaky was good start to day. Thank you for relaxing 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay better than charlie enjoys is walk....

Highly recommend the wanslea guest house immaculately clean, and a exceptional breakfast with a good selection to choose from that will set you up for most of the day. Location is ideal opposite one of biggest garden centres Hayes, walking distance to Ambleside town and the lakeside, I use a walking aid and found it easy, you have bus stops over the road to travel round cumbria. Could not fault one thing Steve & Tina are lovely hosts and keep this guest house to a very high standard will definitely be staying again.

Feel like the more I praise the wanslea the more the likelihood of everyone knowing about the place! Definitely a home from home kind of place, lovely clean, well equipped rooms, great breakfast, as much or as little as you can manage, always service with a smile and an interest in you as a guest as to where you are going each day and whether you achieved it the next morning but Definitely not in an intrusive way. Booked a few weekends for next year and can't wait

This is a great place to stay. It's in a fantastic location, the rooms are bright, clean, very comfortable, and have excellent en-suites. The owners are very friendly and helpful - and the breakfasts are delicious. I've stayed here multiple times, and it's obvious from being in the breakfast room that most people have stayed on many occasions before. That's a great sign that the owners really know what they are doing. Andrew

Stayed in Oct 23 for 2 nights. Booked the Arabian room as a treat for myself. Fantastic room. Lovely bathroom. Everything about the room oozed class. Bath/Shower was very nice too. Excellent Breakfast. Owners nice and friendly. Some parking available on site too. Highly recommended.

Well appointed and excellent value for money Guesthouse. The proprietors were welcoming, friendly and more than helpful. Very clean and comfortable bedroom with a new en-suite Excellent parking and a pleasant, short walk in to Ambleside centre.

First time I have stayed at this guest house but definitely not the last,myself and my son stayed here for 2 nights 1st and 2nd of June,spacious clean and well positioned and with ample parking,lovely en suite rooms,friendly welcoming and approachable hosts in Steve and Tina and a spot on breakfast with great across the board choice of what to have on it,need I say more?Brilliant.
