We have just spent 3 nights here as part of our first trip to the Lake District and were not disappointed! The B&B itself is a charming Victorian townhouse a couple of minutes from the town centre and is handily located on a quiet street as well a close to many links to other popular areas. The room was light, bright and cosy with wonderful pillows and bedding on a comfortable bed. Our host Kate was warm, welcoming and friendly, taking the time to chat with us at breakfast each morning. The breakfast itself was delicious and plentiful with a wide variety of options available. We are already planning our next trip back to the Lakes and will definitely stay here again. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This b and b was awesome. The location was walkable to everywhere in town. The free parking was about a five minute brisk walk. The breakfast in the morning was good and Kate was friendly. We also enjoyed walking down to the lake. Ambleside is such a lovely village.

The BnB was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and there was permit parking, the breakfast was great and Kate the host was really attentive. Loads of cafes, restaurants and pubs with great turns on close by to visit with shops and also very close to walking paths

A great place to stay in Ambleside. Located in a nice central spot, with parking right outside and then a further private parking space if needed close by. Clean and well appointed and included a beautifully cooked breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble.

Everything about the stay was wonderful. The room was lovely and had a sitting area in a bay window. The bedding was great. Nice thick duvet and great pillows. Breakfast was also good and included some homemade jams and jellies that were delicious. The location is a bit off the main streets but that helped make it quiet. Great restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with advice for the area. Lots of walkers and hikers seem to stay here.

As regular visitors to Ambleside we are so glad we came across Kate’s place. Great central location, easy check in , Kate is the most friendly host communicated everything we needed to know. Lovely clean room with all amenities you need, beds wider than the M6 and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice All in all great experience and we certainly will be back very soon .

Absolutely gorgeous B&B in the heart of Ambleside. I booked for two nights in the cosy double room and it was ideal. Comfy bed, clean room, gorgeous view. The breakfast was perfect both days. Kate went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. We will definitely return.

2,day stay in this lovely b&b I’m a solo traveller so had to book large double room It was en-suite with a massive double bed the room was over looking the street it was spotlessly clean with plenty of team and coffee Tv and lots of information about local activities.Very good cooked breakfast with plenty of choice of cereal and fruit. Only met Kate but she’s a really lovely person and so helpful.
