My goodness, this place is paradise, totally unique. The reason is that it feels like home. As soon as you arrive to a special welcome on the beach Elenor the manager said to me “your our family now” and that totally sums it up. We became part of their whole family. A place that is total luxury yet you are not sitting on ceremony at all. Staff mix with you, they know your name and they have fun with you too! Eric and Edmond in the restaurant work so damn hard along with all the restaurant staff, the food is to die for too! We met beautiful Faneva on the boat ride over and she showed how much she loves working on the island, she became a special part of our trip, always smiling with us The hotel is ran by Lucas and Elenor and they do such a perfect job, it can’t be easy managing 80 men and 11 women! What we loved the most is that the staff spent time with us in the evening at pre dinner drinks and at Christmas we all partied and ate together, just like family The island is idlic, the bungalows are amazing inside, full air conditioning after the heat of the sun. We stayed in bungalow 7 on the south shore, amazing views and a few steps and you are in the sea, just simply perfect Nothing was too much trouble, they care for you just as you would your own family. They even have a resident nurse! Please please don’t ever change the concept, we have travelled far and wide and have never experienced this, we very rarely go back to the same location twice but we are already planning our return for this December, if you stay three times your name is embedded into the bar, that we are aiming for If you are hesitant about booking, stop and book now, your life will be enriched for doing so! This was our second trip to Tsarabanjina and it was just as amazing as last year. Not the easiest place to get to from the UK but so worthwhile. Great reception on the beach when you arrive on the boat and you are soon in your villa on the beach where your luggage is waiting for you. Only 25 villas on two beaches so the place is lovely and quiet. Beaches with fantastic sand, swimming, snorkelling, sailboards, kayaks and of course your own loungers for just soaking up the rays. The villas are kept spotless as is the beach and the gardens on the island. You can go diving, trips to local islands, fishing, do as much or as little as you want. For such a small place the restaurant serves great food and you eat what you catch! But what really makes this place is the staff. Hard to mention them all and to those I have forgotten I apologise. Edmond and Eric in the restaurant, Mao and Tombo in the bar, Jacob running the excursions, Manjary the fishing. A very special mention to the two fantastic ladies who have looked after us so well in the last two years, Faneva and Zoulekah. The team are led by Lucas and Elena who are all about making sure that the guests have a good time and their needs and expectations are met. A good holiday always has to end but you get a great send off from the beach as you leave. Sad to leave but the saying is come as a guest and leave as family and we certainly felt that we had done that. Plans are already under way for another trip next year.
