The location is good, you can see the sea.
You need to walk up 77 steps from the pier. Fortunately, we had a handsome portman arranged by the hotel to help us carry our luggage, which saved us a lot of effort.
The breakfast was a bit far-fetched, but it was average, and there was nothing to complain about. It was just like eating out by myself, so it was acceptable.
The location and view of the sea are the most important and the most important parts of the praise.
The hotel arranged for someone to pick up my car, which cost about 45 euros a day. Parking here is definitely a headache, so I am very grateful to the hotel for its service.

Pros: Central location; lovely and helpful staff; excellent seaview at breakfast; very good breakfast. Cons: tiny room right next to reception. Gap around door. Could hear everything from reception (and assume they could hear me). Very frugal with toiletries. Rust around shower door.

The hotel has a great location and the breakfast was good. Our air conditioning didn’t work well and it was very, very hot in our room. The staff said it was working , but it really wasn’t working at peak capacity it was very stuffy and still humid. We tried to have our window open at night but the noise from the streets kept us awake.

Hotel claims there are 77 steps. We had 109 steps to get to our room. Staff do not know what a smile is. They are very cold and ignored when I complained the TV does not work. It switches on, but no channels! I informed reception from our first day. I reminded them every day but they never attempted to solve it. They just smirk. Breakfast is very poor. Staff ignore you and you have to literally beg for coffee. Coffee is excellent though. Hotel has an excellent location if you don't mind the steps.

Location location location …. Great view from terrace Just 100 steps up from square …. However customer service was obviously not in their staff training manual as they were a bit grumpy and unhelpful Needed a bit work eg . warm water shower, lights out, bit miserly on breakfast, coffee machine there… but not in use, wine display and fridge there .. but none for sale

Cons: - Air conditioning was locked on low at 29*C/84*F - Wifi only worked near the room entrance - Complimentary breakfast included bland breads and terrible coffee - Situated on busy street with extremely loud traffic all day and night *All of this resulted in zero sleep* Pros: - Situated near the port and Piazza Duomo

The pros: beautiful views and location is close to ferries and the Duomo. The cons: You are on the busiest road (the only road) of Amalfi and it is LOUD all night. The air conditioning is not really AC, it is a fan that blows cool air (80 F/29 C) only if you are in the room with the key placed in the wall. Only one outlet actually fit plugs. The shower felt like it belonged in an RV. The room was cleaned, but towels were not replaced after days and our bedspread was taken and not returned (didn’t really need it as it was so hot in the room anyway). Breakfast is included, but should be skipped.

Great hotel, centrally located in Amalfi with friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet with beautiful views over the bay. It has about 80 steps to reach it, so less ideal with bulky luggage. Rooms are normal size and clean.

Nice place to stay with a lovely view. Amalfi very busy during the day - best to go out after the day trippers have gone. Bear in mind it is up 75 steps from the harbour. Ignore google maps from Piazza Favio Gioia, take the underpass below the coast road near the Arsenale
