The hotel was spectacular. One of the most beautiful hotels. The views and the gardens are amazing. It was incredible to walk the property daily and see the beautiful canopies of lemons and limes. The variety of flowers growing everywhere was so beautiful. The breakfast buffet and service was second to none. Everything was fabulous from the staff in every department, the gym, beach club, and food. Truly our favorite hotel. An amazing place to have a wedding. Will go back.

Popped in for a drink and ended up ordering food. DO NOT ORDER FOOD. Perfectly fine for drinks but the food is terrible. Overpriced, style over substance. €38 for a Chicken Caesar Salad which was the size of the palm of my hand. €36 for a Salmon Pizza that was too overly fishy that we couldn’t finish it. Just order drinks. Not food.

Outstanding service especially from the Manager of the hotel (Andrew Camera) who went out of his way to arrange a van, a private tour of Pompeii and tow service for our rental car after the keys had been lost. He could not have been more accommodating and professional in every way. We will definitely go back in the future.

We stayed for a week in this beautiful villa "La Marchesa", which belongs to the Hotel Santa Caterina in Amalfi and it was an absolute pleasure to experience the service and the passion for this place with the staff and our respective families. The luxury villa has 5 spacious bedrooms overlooking the ocean, with ensuites, a fully equipped kitchen, a huge terrace and a stunning private poo with amazing views An Italian experience never to be forgotten.

Very well kept hotel located overooking the sea from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Great Beach Club with heated pool. Glicine Restaurant deserves the star: service, menu live up to expectations. Excellent food also at the other hotel restaurants.

We had again an incredible stay here. Amazing views, fabulous beach club, excellent in house dining experience (Glicine, Al Mare Restaurant and breakfast) and close proximity to city center with shuttle service. All staff was always top notch. Highly recommend. We've already booked for next year

We were recommended to this hotel by friends who have travelled the world extensively. I have very mixed feelings about it and frankly was disappointed overall. The position and the access to the ocean and pool level is spectacular... there are almost no other hotels that have access like this does in the area. However there is a lot missing after that.... small pool restaurant with ok food , pool and deck service was just fair with no real effort by staff to make the day memorable.... most of the staff seemed like they were just bored, no great effort was made to see if you needed food or drink or to engage you in any way. The rooms felt tired to me ... clean but just not particularly crisp. Lots of stairs and corridors to navigate . The breakfast room was outstanding with a huge selection of choices but spoiled by staff who seemed uninterested and spent a lot of time standing around talking to each other. All in all i was not particularly impressed and did not feel it was a " five star" hotel. I would use the word " rustic" to describe the hotel even though i believe there has been renovations.

What an amazing hotel superbly run! The team are wonderful and could not do enough to make our stay more welcoming. Every little detail was perfect from the rooms, to the restaurants to the gardens to the terraces and the fantastic beach club. The views from every part of the hotel are just incredible. Special mention to Erminia who was more than helpful,professional, and accommodating in every way during our reservation process. Thank you Hotel Santa Caterina!
