It's a B&B, but the owner is very capricious. He won't check in after 5 pm, and will close the door and leave. However, Ctrip information shows that the latest check-in time is 22:00, which is wrong. Therefore, I was unable to check in after arriving at 19:00 that day, so I had to change hotels. The hotel reception is on the fourth floor of a building without an elevator. The entrance is on the left side of the arcade in Figure 1

It was the best accommodation during my trip to Italy.
Not to mention the location,
the host was meticulous and very kind.
They helped me carry my luggage and greeted and dropped me off, everything was great.
The facilities were state-of-the-art and the amenities were Ferragamo.

What an amazing stay. The view was breathtaking. The bed was comfy, showers had great pressure and temperature. They put a lot of work in all the details. We had robes, slippers and mini bar. We were given a complimentary welcome drink of our choice. Breakfast in room was delicious. It had everything. We were with another couple, so we spent some time visiting and having a drink at their honesty bar in the lobby. It was a short walk to restaurants and shops. Ferry was right below our room but not in service during this time. The staff was of great help with luggage up the stairs. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I love everything about the place. Location was absolutely superb; so convenient! View to die for! Room was so clean and comfortable! The staff was accommodating we didn’t want for anything couldn’t have been happier. This Tennessee girl loved every minute of the stay; didn’t want to leave.

Amazing customer service! This was one of our favorite hotels during our trip. The staff was incredibly helpful, the room was comfortable, and the location was perfect. They also assisted with our bags, which was a huge help given all the stairs. Breakfast was fantastic—I looked forward to it every morning!

Wow! 1. The location of the hotel is amazing! Right on the sea front outside of the port. 2. The view!!! The view is incredible and finally the staff are so friendly and helpful with recommendations! Super clean will definitely recommend this if you are looking to come to the Amalfi coast

My husband and I had an amazing 2 night stay at Palazzo Vitagliano for our European honeymoon! The location was perfect.. sea front facing the Amalfi port and close to the public beach, all the restaurants, shops and cathedral. We came in July which is a very busy month, but given the location we felt that we were able to avoid much of the crowds, avoided a lot of stairs and we were able to take the ferry to Positano so easily. The b&b was great! It was newly renovated, clean and had the great view of the ocean. They even had an honesty bar in the shared public space which added a nice touch to the place. The staff are friendly and our host was always quick to answer any questions we had. We loved our room and the amenities that came with it (espresso machine, fridge, bath tub) . Overall, we highly recommend this gem of a b&b!

We had a great experience at Palazzo Vitagliano. Giulia was an amazing host and very hospitable and Angelo met us at the ferry to help carry our bags. The room was very nice and spacious with a balcony overlooking the beach and ferry. Plus the bathtub was a great feature. Perfect central location in Amalfi - would definitely recommend.
