Travelers Reviews of Amakusa Hotels

Amakusa Prince Hotel
4.8/52 Reviews
I happened to be in the way when the pottery exhibition is held. The venue was about a 3 walk from the hotel, so I was able to stop by and spend a fulfilling time. The food was very delicious! When I went to Amakusa, I first had seafood! I was impressed by the gorgeous sashimi. The building feels old, but the rooms were well cleaned and I was able to relax with peace of mind. The hotel staff were all nice.

The weather was very nice and the sunset was beautiful. It was Golden Week and the price was 58,000 yen for two people. I was looking forward to the food, but they didn't even serve spiny lobster. For about 20,000 yen per person per night, I would be happy with the dinner. I made the reservation about a month in advance, and it was a room facing the mountain. When I made the reservation, I wasn't able to specify the type of food or the room. I had a vague idea of the price, 58,000 yen for two people with two meals. The service and the hotel's attitude were good, so the dinner was very disappointing.
